Nora's POV
“WHO DARES TOUCH MY WOMAN!?”
Ivy shrieked, the bottle of acid slipping from her hand. I twisted my body, throwing myself backward.
The bottle clattered to the ground, its content splashing against the concrete.
The floor where it fell began corroding instantly. My body twisted in pain as I felt tiny burns sear through my arm and waist.
A drop.
Then another.
And suddenly fire exploded across my skin.
I screamed. The acid had splashed onto my clothes, eating through the fabric, biting into flesh. The smell was suffocating. Burnt cotton, burnt skin. I clawed at my shirt desperately, but the more I moved, the more it spread.
Ivy stumbled back as some of the acid splashed against her leg. She let out a sharp cry, dropping to her knees, clutching her thigh.
