Nora's POV The warm rays of sun slipped into the room from the parted curtains, resting on my face. I parted my eyes open slightly, yawning as I sat up from bed. I stretched my body, twisting as I took in deep breaths. The pain I’d felt earlier had dissipated, my body feeling lighter. “Good morning, little corpse,” Gerald's familiar voice came from the door. I'd been at Gerald's place for the past week. He'd been taking care of me. From meals, to exercise, to medicine. He never let me feel pain or frown. Almost like I was living in a fairytale.
