Seeing the situation about to spiral out of control, I grabbed Gerald's arm, “Let's go, now.”
“Where do you think you're going?” Damien asked, grabbing my arm.
Before I could pull away, Gerald wrapped his arm around Damien's, shoving him back with a violent force.
Damien lost balance, stumbling as his back slammed against the edge of the desk. “I swear to God, I'll sue you!” Damien snarled.
I was briefly stunned, Damien's voice snapping me back to reality. I shifted my gaze to Damien, “We'll talk later. Don't do anything stupid.”
