A sudden wave engulfed me when Tim dive-bombed in off the bridge. Hypocrite. Laughing, I splashed and then dunked him before looking around for Bane. He was still standing on the bridge, holding an umbrella and saying something to Dallmin with a stern look on his face. Dallmin nodded obediently, took the umbrella, and sat down with his legs dangling over the edge, looking a little bit wistful. ‘Did I do it again?’ I asked Tim as he swam in lazy circles around me. ‘Yes, but we all knew it was coming, and it’s kind of handy the way Bane can sense if it’s a safe spot to jump in.
