The next morning, Sunday, Michael, Marvin, and Kier eagerly prepared themselves for their journey to the De Sanders Manor. The anticipation hung in the air as they double-checked their belongings and ensured they were ready for what promised to be a day filled with luxury and surprises. Dressed in their best attire, they couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and disbelief about the lavish experience awaiting them. As they headed towards the car, Michael couldn't shake the grin on his face, ready to unveil a new world to his friends. As they reached the parking lot where Michael had parked the sleek black car, Marvin and Kier couldn't hide their amazement at the luxurious vehicle. With his eyes wide open in astonishment, Marvin exclaimed! "Man, Michael, this car is insane! When did you get it?" Grinning, Michael replied to his friend. "It's a long story, guys. Let's just say things have changed." "Changed? This is like a dream car! Seriously, how did you manage to get it?" Kier asked. Michael teasingly said with excitement. "Well, let's just say I have a few surprises up my sleeve. Hop in, and I'll tell you all about it on the way to the De Sanders Manor." The trio climbed into the car, the excitement palpable as they set off for a day that promised not only luxury but also the revelation of a secret that would forever alter their perspective on Michael's life. As they reached the grand entrance of the manor, a sense of awe filled the trio. The sheer magnificence of the place was evident in its grand architecture and meticulously landscaped surroundings. As they approached the lobby, the receptionist, a picture of elegance herself, greeted them with a professional smile. "Good morning. May I see your membership access cards?" she inquired, her tone polished and courteous. Michael, maintaining his calm demeanor, replied. "We don't have membership access cards. We're guests of Crystal De Sanders. She invited us here today." However, the receptionist, glancing at Michael's less-than-impressive attire, hesitated. "I'm sorry, sir, but entry to the De Sanders Manor requires a membership access card. We have strict policies in place." Michael calmly replied: "Look, I understand your policy, but Crystal De Sanders invited us here. She mentioned we're expected." Then the Receptionist doubtfully said: "Invited by Ms. De Sanders?! I find that hard to believe, especially considering the dress code for our exclusive members." Kier, confused, asked. "Dress code? What's wrong with what Michael is wearing?" The receptionist responded condescendingly. "We maintain a certain standard here. Perhaps you gentlemen should come back when you're appropriately dressed." The receptionist, though maintaining her professionalism, continued to scrutinize them. Michael couldn't help but feel the weight of judgment from her discerning gaze. The trio stood firm, awaiting the resolution of this unexpected hurdle. Being annoyed, Marvin retorted. "You don't understand! Michael is." Michael interrupted Marvin and said. "It's alright, guys. Let's not make a scene. I'll handle this." Michael took out his phone and dialed Crystal's number, hoping to resolve the situation. Michael dialed Crystal's number anxiously, hoping she would answer and resolve the situation. Meanwhile, the receptionist continued to criticize them, challenging them to call Miss De Sanders and see if they could indeed pull off a trick. Michael, said to himself. "I hope Crystal picks up. This is getting awkward." Dom, eagerly said. "Can't believe they're questioning us. We're guests, not intruders." Kier, added, Yeah, because guests usually need a membership card. Michael, just bear with it for a moment. Crystal will sort this out. The tension grew as the phone rang, and the trio awaited Crystal's response. Crystal promptly answered her phone as Michael dialed her number. After the connection was established, Michael explained the situation. "Hey, Crystal. We're here at the manor, but the receptionist won't let us in without a membership card. Can you help us out?" he inquired. Crystal chuckled on the other end of the line. "Oh, Michael. I forgot to mention that. Just tell them I invited you. They might not recognize you in your regular attire." Relieved, Michael responded. "Actually, I already mentioned that but she did not believe." "Don't worry. I'll make a call to the front desk to let them know you're expected. Enjoy your time there!" Crystal assured. "Thanks, Crystal. You're a lifesaver." Michael expressed his gratitude. The receptionist, on the other hand, heard everything and she recognized the voice of her boss. As the receptionist trembled, her phone buzzed, indicating an incoming call. She hesitantly answered, her voice shaky as she apologized to Crystal. Crystal, on the other end of the line, listened calmly as the receptionist stammered through her apology, realizing the gravity of the situation. "I'm sorry, Miss De Sanders. I didn't know." she mumbled, fear evident in her tone. Crystal reassured her that everything was fine and directed her to let Michael and his friends enter the manor. Crystal calmly conveyed to the receptionist that Michael was her brother and the new owner of the manor. She asked the receptionist to accompany them to the meeting hall, where all the staff had been invited for a meeting. Understanding the situation, the receptionist, now with a sense of urgency, agreed to guide Michael and his friends to the designated area. As Kier shot a triumphant smirk at the receptionist, he couldn't help but comment. "Guess it's not every day you see someone unexpected owning a mansion, huh?" The receptionist, still recovering from her earlier skepticism, offered a sheepish apology. "I'm really sorry for the misunderstanding. Please, follow me to the meeting hall. Miss De Sanders is waiting." Michael, maintaining a calm demeanor, nodded appreciatively, and they followed the now apologetic receptionist to the meeting hall. Entering the meeting hall, some attendees were already present, while others were still making their way in. Crystal had not arrived yet. Michael and his friends sensed the judgmental eyes of those already present. Dressed in a manner that contrasted with the expected standards, they became the focal point of curious and judgmental gazes. The atmosphere was charged with an unspoken challenge to the conventional norms, making their presence the subject of scrutiny among the well-dressed crowd. Observing the judgmental glances directed their way, Michael couldn't help but break into a smile. The receptionist, catching his expression, joined in and whispered. "Mister De Sanders, turns out I'm not the only one who's judgmental here. Let's see their faces later on as Miss De Sanders enters and acknowledges you." The shared understanding between Michael and the receptionist added a subtle layer of amusement to the unfolding scene in the meeting hall. Whispers echoed through the room as people exchanged discreet conversations. Each person seemed to be asking their neighbor. "Are they new hires?" One response cut through the murmurs, suggesting. "Even if they are new hires, they should be in their proper attires." As they saw the trio enter together with the receptionist, a staff member speculated. "They might be from a contractor hired to fix some electric wires and electronics here." The room buzzed with assumptions and guesses about the trio's role in the mansion. The gossip and speculation created an undercurrent of curiosity among the assembled staff. The staff exchanged glances and nods of agreement. The consensus was clear – these newcomers were out of place, and their casual attire only fueled the speculation among the mansion's staff. Crystal's entrance into the hall was nothing short of regal. The moment she stepped in, a wave of quiet respect washed over the room, silencing the murmurs that had been circulating among the staff. Her mere presence demanded attention, and the employees, in turn, greeted her with a mixture of awe and deference. Michael, Kier, and Marvin, standing alongside the receptionist, observed the transformation in the atmosphere. The initial skepticism and judgment from the staff seemed to dissipate in the face of Crystal's authority. The receptionist, catching Michael's eye, wore a knowing smile as if to say, 'Here comes the moment.' As Crystal acknowledged the staff with a nod, the trio couldn't help but feel a subtle shift in perception. The meeting hall, once filled with whispers and speculations, now held a tense anticipation. As Crystal took center stage, the atmosphere in the meeting hall crackled with anticipation. The staff, accustomed to the routine meetings and updates, found themselves on the edge of their seats, wondering about the unexpected turn this gathering was about to take. Crystal, with an air of authority, began addressing the employees, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. Her words resonated through the hall, and just when the anticipation reached its peak, she shifted the spotlight onto Michael. Crystal, orchestrating the unfolding drama, gestured for Michael to join her on the stage. As he stepped forward, the eyes of the curious staff followed his every move, creating a charged atmosphere in the meeting hall. The spotlight now shifted entirely onto Michael, who stood at the center of attention. "Miss De Sanders!" one of the senior staff members ventured to speak. "May I ask who this young man is with you?" Crystal, with a poised demeanor, addressed the assembled staff. "Ladies and gentlemen, I have an announcement to make. This is not just a meeting. It's a moment of celebration for the De Sanders family." The staff exchanged puzzled glances, wondering what was about to unfold. Crystal continued. "Allow me to introduce someone very special. He's not just a new face. He's my brother and the new owner of this manor." A collective gasp and surprise swept through the room as the staff tried to reconcile their initial judgments with this unexpected revelation. The staff exchanged bewildered glances, their initial shock quickly evolving into a whirlwind of questions. Crystal, sensing the brewing curiosity, encouraged Michael to say a few words. The room fell into a hushed silence as Michael stepped forward to address the gathering. With a genuine and humble tone, he spoke. "Thank you all for the warm welcome. I am honored to be here and grateful for the opportunity to oversee this remarkable establishment." After his brief speech, the room erupted into a heartfelt applause. The staff, once uncertain and judgmental, now welcomed the new owner with genuine enthusiasm, realizing that their assumptions had been challenged by the unexpected turns of the day. Michael's presence had left an indelible mark, and the De Sanders manor was poised for a new chapter under his ownership.
