##Chapter 9 Treat Me Well For No Reason

986 Words
Sharon gave a glance at the kitchen. After her effort, she finally put everything in perfect order. "I didn't expect the daughter of Evans group could be reduced to wash dishes personally. But luckily, I have a good chef." An unfamiliar man cooked for her. She married a stranger. Thinking of those dramatic scenes, Sharon had a chill shiver. Although the aftertaste of the soup was lingering on her teeth, the embarrassing relationship made Sharon come to her senses. She shook her head. "I should get myself washed up. I can't submit to him just by a meal," thought Sharon. "How about having a shower?" Nathan sat over there in a bathrobe. He looked at Sharon. Sharon wondered why Nathan was so calm, facing such an embarrassing thing. He just blurted it out as usual. What kind of man he was? Would they really live together in this way? "What are you hesitating for? I've finished showering. It's your turn." Nathan sniggered. At this moment, even if he didn't wear such a meaningful look, Sharon was easy to be lost in thoughts. Let alone Nathan's gentle gaze. Sharon grabbed the bathrobe and rushed into the bathroom quickly. "What's wrong with me? Why did I blush? Isn't it he to feel embarrassed?" Sharon muttered in front of the mirror. She looked down and found everything was placed in order. "Come on? He even squeezed the toothpaste for me..." Sharon looked around everything in surprise. "Why did he do everything for me without sake? He must have some evil intentions!" Thinking of that, Sharon came to her senses. The water sprinkled on her skin, making her paler and more moisturized. Nathan looked at the figure in the bathroom through the window. "The woman is not only interesting but adorkable," Nathan muttered. A faint smile gradually came to his face. After a while, Sharon opened the door and walked out of the bathroom. Wearing a pink bathrobe, she stepped out as she wiped her hair. "Are you done?" Nathan asked calmly without looking at Sharon. But Sharon was stunned. She stood there and had no idea how to answer. "Uh-huh." Sharon replied in a faint voice. Then she sat down on the bedside, and she glanced at Nathan from time to time. Nathan was absorbed in reading a magazine, so he didn't notice Sharon. "Well... Mr. Harris?" Sharon called him uneasily. Nathan finally turned his attention to Sharon. "What did you say?" His tone was more serious with a little surprise. Sharon faked a slight cough. "Eh-hem." "Aren't you feeling good?" "No, I'm good." "Well, it's one of your habits. You always cough when you feel embarrassed," Nathan gazed at Sharon as if he knew her a lot. Sharon felt extremely embarrassed. And Nathan kept saying such embarrassing words to her. How could Sharon keep calm? Finally, Sharon stood up and said, "Mr. Harris, since you are so straightforward, I also come to the point. In order to avoid embarrassment, and avoid my cough, you'd better sleep on the sofa." Seeing Sharon lose temper and even pointed at him, Nathan knew she was upset. He said, "Why are you mad at me? It's our wedding night, I'm not sleeping on the sofa!" He was afraid it would irritate Sharon. After all, they lived together. It was better to keep harmony. "Wedding night?" Sharon muttered. She stood there and lost in thoughts. "I've agreed to marry him. And this is his house... I'd better not be so aggressive. What if he kicked me out... Then I have no place to stay." "Mr. Harris, then you sleep here, and I can sleep on the sofa." Sharon grabbed the pillow and walked downstairs instantly. She threw hard the pillow on the sofa. "Alas! Even though I'm reduced to such a sorry state, I can't really be his wife. I knew nothing about this man, that's way too..." Sharon lay on the sofa. It was soft, and she was quite satisfied. Seeing Sharon darting downstairs with a furious look, Nathan smiled. "The little guy hasn't been used to it..." Nathan thought. The next morning, the sun shone on Sharon's pink face. She finally had a sound sleep. Sharon opened her eyes. She got up and saw the food on the table. Her stomach grumbled at the moment. "Good morning. Breakfast is done." Nathan stood in front of Sharon with two cups of coffee in his hands. Sharon faced a man when she woke up for the first time. She hurriedly put on the shoes and rushed into the bathroom. "I'm really in a mess," Sharon murmured. Looking at herself in the mirror, she looked quite good, though in an unkempt appearance. Anyways, they had married, so Sharon could live here. Nathan couldn't go so far to kick his wife out of the house. Wife? Thinking of that, Sharon blushed. She glanced at the outside secretly. If Nathan didn't make trouble for her, he was quite reliable. After washing up, Sharon walked out of the bathroom. "Let's get started." As Nathan spoke, he passed the coffee in front of Sharon. Sharon took it and had a sip. "You can do the Pasta ?" "Yes. When I had my internship abroad, I often cook for myself. How do you like it?" Internship? Sharon was wondering why a small clerk went abroad for internship. "Are you really a nine to five? A white-collar employee?" Sharon asked in surprise. She felt it was weird. How could a white-collar afford the limited limousine? "Yes. But don't worry. I can feed you." "No. I can work and feed myself. By the way, your car..." Nathan was stunned. He looked at Sharon and answered, "Oh, it's my boss' car." "His boss? Why does his boss treat him so well? That is a Phantom!" thought Sharon. She widened her eyes and gazed at Nathan. She was amazed by his good luck.
