I was sitting in my living room staring at the wall when my phone rang. It was Jake, one of the guys from the old crew. His voice came through loud and excited. "Tyler, man, we're throwing a reunion this weekend. Whole gang. You in?" I sat up straighter. "Reunion? Who's coming?" "Everyone who can make it. Mike, Sarah, Lisa, the twins, even some people we haven't seen since high school. You gotta come. And hit up Darien too. He just got back in town, right?" I smiled to myself, slow and careful. "Yeah, he did. I'll call him." "Cool. Saturday night at the old warehouse on Miller Road. We rented it out. Bring drinks if you want." "Got it. See you then."
