Aria's POV The knock on my door started softly and then grew more insistent, like whoever stood outside had convinced himself that if he kept tapping long enough I would eventually surrender. I dragged a pillow over my head and considered pretending I was not there, but the knock continued with steady patience that scraped against my nerves. I threw the covers aside and marched to the door, yanking it open without caring how I looked.
