"Don't push your luck!" Jack's voice was low and menacing, his finger pointing at the woman as a warning. The room was filled with parents and children, and he didn't want to scare the kids by being too violent.

The woman, stunned, cried out, "You—how dare you hit me! Do you know who I am? You're dead! I'm calling my brother right now!" She fumbled for her phone.

Ignoring her threats, Jack explained Cindy's situation to the admissions teacher. The teacher sympathized with Cindy but pointed out the age requirement for students. Thirteen-year-olds couldn't be placed with six-year-olds.

After a moment of thought, the teacher suggested, "How about this? I know a trainee teacher looking for a job. She could tutor Cindy at home to help her catch up on elementary school courses. Would that work?"

Jack asked about the tutor's character. More than academic skills, he wanted someone trustworthy for Cindy. If he weren’t so busy, he would have tutored Cindy himself.

"Don't worry. She's very patient and kind. I'll call her now," the teacher reassured him. Jack nodded in agreement.

"You hit me and still want a tutor? Dream on! My brother will make sure you get nothing!" The woman had finished her call and was now glaring at Jack.

A few minutes later, a man in glasses, looking very gentlemanly, arrived. The woman immediately started crying, "Brother, you're finally here. They were bullying me!"

The man's face darkened as he surveyed the room. "Who hurt my sister? Apologize now!"

Jack stood still. Recognizing the man, the admissions teacher turned pale. 'That was the secretary to the City's Education Bureau Director. This woman was his sister! This was serious!'

"It was him! And he wants a tutor for that brat!" the woman pointed at Jack.

The secretary walked up to Jack, "I'm the secretary to the Education Commissioner. I'll give you one chance to apologize to my sister. If she forgives you, we'll let this slide. Otherwise, no school or teacher in the city will dare teach your sister!"

Jack's eyes narrowed. He had only come to enroll Cindy but was now being threatened by a mere secretary.

The woman, feeling triumphant, added, "You'd better apologize. Just saying sorry isn't enough. You should crawl on the ground and lick my shoes clean!"

"You want me to lick your shoes?" Jack's voice turned icy. This woman had been continuously insulting him and his sister in front of so many parents and children, and now she was demanding a degrading punishment. Jack was on the verge of an explosive rage.

The woman remained silent, her head held high, clearly demanding just that.

At that moment, Cindy stepped forward. "Ma'am, I'll clean your shoes with my clothes for my brother. Please don't make my brother do that. He's only trying to help me." She began to lower herself to the ground.

"Cindy!" Jack pulled her back.

"It's okay, brother. I'm used to cleaning shoes at the Shaw family for food," Cindy said with a nonchalant smile, about to continue wiping the woman's shoes. However, Jack held her firmly.

"Cindy, from now on, no one will ever make you clean their shoes. Understand?" Jack's voice was firm.

Before Cindy could reply, the woman snapped, "Not clean! Lick! If you don't, your sister can't go to school!"

Her brother also chimed in, "Don't be afraid to hear it. Not only can I prevent your sister from going to school in Wyndcrest, but I also have connections in the education systems of several nearby cities. People like you shouldn't waste Wyndcrest's educational resources. If you want to go to school, you'd better go far away."

"Heh," Jack sneered. "I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be threatened by a secretary."

"So what if I'm a secretary? In the education sector, I can bully you however I want. Just—" The man didn't finish his sentence because Jack had already slapped him across the face and followed up with a kick that sent him flying.

Jack's face turned cold as he walked towards the fallen man step by step, his smile resembling a demon crawling out of hell. "I didn't want to resort to violence in front of the children, but you are too despicable. I couldn't resist."

The woman screamed and hurriedly helped her brother up. When he opened his mouth, a stream of blood and broken teeth flowed out, causing the surrounding children and parents to scream in fright.
