"Grandma, now that Drake is gone, I'm going to make sure that b***h pays. I'll take over all her projects!" Bob declared happily.
"Don't even think about it." Ladyship Foster waved her hand dismissively. "The slum reconstruction project used to belong to the Shaw family. Without the support of Destroy Steele Group, the project has already been reclaimed by the Shaw family this morning."
Bob hurriedly asked, "The Shaw family must have taught Emily a lesson!"
"No," Ladyship Foster said with some regret. "Emily disappeared early this morning, allowing her to escape. We don't need to pay attention to her. Now, the Monument Park project can continue."
At the same time, in the villa area at the top of Dragon Crest, Emily was pacing back and forth anxiously in the hall. "Tell me what happened, Simon," she asked urgently.
"Miss Foster, you can rest here at ease. Mr. Steele will take care of everything," Simon assured her.
"According to the news, Drake has been arrested, and I can't get in touch with Jack. How can I be calm?" Emily said, panic evident in her voice.
"Emily, you have to trust my brother. He'll be fine!" Cindy stepped forward to comfort her.
Even though she was deeply worried, Emily knew there was nothing she could do. After hesitating for a while, she took Cindy back to her room to review her homework.
Only then did Simon relax a little. He wasn't good at lying, and if Emily continued to question him, he might accidentally reveal the secret.

In Wyndcrest Prison, Jack was locked in a dark and damp dungeon, his hands cuffed. This was no interrogation room or ordinary cell, and it was not a standard investigation process. Yet Jack wasn't worried at all. He closed his eyes and began to rest.
"Squeak!"
The door to the dungeon opened. Victor, the superintendent, West Williams, an officer from Wyndcrest, and Homas, the Chief of Police, entered the room.
"I've finished reading your file, Jack," Victor said coldly. "I didn't expect you had served in the army for eight years and became famous the same year as General Steele! Tell me the truth about why you're impersonating him and what your plans are!"
Victor shouted the questions, but the room remained silent. Jack didn't even open his eyes, ignoring the interrogation.
"Jack!" Victor slammed the table and yelled angrily, "Have you been playing this role for so long that you actually think you're General Steele? If you don't cooperate, you will die!"
Jack opened his eyes and replied with a smile, "I can cooperate. Ask the governor to come see me."
"What did you say?" Victor thought he had misheard and asked again.
"I said, get the governor of South State to come see me in person!" Jack repeated.
At this, the room fell into silence. After a long pause, Victor burst into laughter.
He doubled over, nearly in tears. "Forget it, I shouldn't take a lunatic so seriously." Victor got up and said to the police chief, "I'll leave Homas to you. The City Lord and I still have business to handle."
With that, Victor turned and left. West Williams glanced at Jack in silence, sighed, and left as well.
When Homas saw that he and Jack were alone, a malicious grin spread across his face. He walked up to Jack and said, "Jack, you're finally under my control!"
"You know me?" Jack was surprised.
"The Boss of Southside is my uncle!" Homas snarled. "You killed my uncle! I've been dying to kill you! I just didn't expect your identity was fake! My uncle enjoyed a lifetime of glory, but in the end, he died at the hands of a worthless man like you. Fate has no mercy!"
"Huh? So, what do you want?" Jack sneered.
"To avenge my uncle, of course!" Homas shouted, swinging his fist at Jack.
"Bang!" With a dull thud, Jack, seated in the chair, kicked Homas away, sending him sprawling to the ground.
"How dare you hit me!" Homas screamed in shock.
Jack slowly stood up and said coldly, "I'll give you one chance. Call the governor. If he doesn't come, you'll all go to hell!" Jack's voice was calm, but it sent a chill down Homas's spine.
"You... you just wait and see!" Homas stammered as he hurried away with trembling legs.
In the Shaw family's villa, the young heirs of the Shaw family listened to the head of the family, Jordan, speaking in the conference room. "You did well in dealing with Jack this time! Zachary planned the entire operation carefully without getting himself hurt. Remember, we need to think more strategically about how to deal with ruthless enemies. Don't provoke those who can easily harm us. Otherwise, you'll end up like Carry and Lisa."
"We understand, Patriarch!" all the young men responded quickly.
"After this test, the Shaw family's recommendation spot will go to Zachary," Jordan continued.
Zachary said, "Wait a minute, Grandpa. Although Jack has been arrested, his bastard sister and girlfriend are still alive. I want to catch them and torture them to avenge my brother!"
"I've already found out where they are. We can set off now and bring them back!"
