"You're asking for it!" Bob raised his hand angrily, ready to slap Emily.

"Stop!" a voice shouted, startling Bob. He thought it was Jack. He looked back and found that it was a man he didn't know.

"It's none of your business. Get out of my way!" Bob said in an extremely unpleasant tone.

"Get out? Do you know who I am?" The man strode up to Bob and slapped him in the face. Then, he looked gently at Emily. "Emily, I finally see you."

"Who are you?" Emily frowned and asked, feeling uncomfortable under this gaze.

"I'm Mandy's son. My name is Kaid." The man pointed to himself and said.

"Oh, it's you." Emily remembered that this was the blind date that her mother had set her up with, supposedly far superior to Jack.

"Thank you." Emily was not interested in him and turned to leave.

"Emily, wait for me." Kaid was about to follow her when Bob stopped him.

" Motherfucker! How dare you i***t slap me! Stop right there!" Bob roared angrily, because the Foster family's status had soared thanks to the memorial park project. Especially now, after the blow to the Shaw family and the Steele family, the Foster family was about to rank among the first-tier families in the city. But now, this guy dared to hit him! "Get lost now!" Kaid's eyes glinted with cold fury.

Emily ignored Bob. After coming out of the backstage, she sat down near Jack. She looked around and her eyes fell on him.

"Why does this person look so familiar?" The woman tilted her head, lost in thought.

Jack pretended not to know her and waited for the award ceremony to begin.

A few minutes later, the host invited all the young entrepreneurs onto the stage. Emily stood at the center of the row of entrepreneurs, the brightest star. All the men below the stage could not help but look at her.

Next, the host began to read out the lines.

"Now, let's welcome our award-winning guests to present to these outstanding entrepreneurs! Tonight, there are several distinguished guests from West State. Of course, the most important one is this gentleman wearing a golden mask. He is the most important guest of our party tonight, and the award is belong to the chairman of Joyland Realty, Emily Foster!"

"Wow!" The whole audience applauded thunderously.

Jack took the trophy from the staff and walked to the stage. Emily looked at the man walking towards her and for some reason, her heart began to beat faster.

"Ms. Foster, this is your reward. Please accept it." Jack deliberately changed his voice and handed the certificate and trophy to Emily.

Just as the woman was about to thank him, Jack pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply. Everyone was stunned.

West was stunned for a moment, and then he immediately stood up and applauded. When everyone saw the City Lord applauding, they didn't dare to say anything no matter how confused they were in their hearts, so they quickly followed suit.
