West glanced at Kaid with a frown and said gloomily, "According to what you said, you should know a lot about antiques. Otherwise, how do you know that one is fake?"
"Because there's only one authentic porcelain piece, and I have it right here!" Kaid puffed out his chest, speaking proudly.
"What?" The guests were interested when they heard what Kaid said. They didn't expect there to be such a dramatic plot.
"Well, Mr. Medhurst, please show us the authentic one!" West said word by word. He had been obsessed with collecting antiques for decades, and he and several top masters of collection had verified that the one in Jack was authentic. But now, he was told that it was fake.
This was simply an insult to him and the expertise of those top masters in the collection world!
However, Kaid said confidently, "I've already called the real antique porcelain store and they'll be here soon." As soon as he finished speaking, Frank and Nancy entered the venue.
"Kaid, I've brought the porcelain you needed!" No sooner had Nancy entered the venue, she found that everyone's eyes were on her. She immediately walked to the stage with her head held high and her chest out proudly. However, when she walked to the first row of guests, she saw Jack and Emily leaning against each other.
Nancy knew that Kaid was still still present, but she was furious when she saw that her daughter was so close to this man. She pointed at Jack and shouted, "Jack, you scourge, get out of here! Who gave you permission to attend this event? Do you even deserve to be here?"
"Mom!" Emily immediately got up and wanted to explain that Jack was an important guest invited by the governor tonight. His status was even more distinguished than the guests present.
When the guests heard Nancy making trouble, they immediately became angry. However, Nancy did not realize that she was glaring at Emily instead. "Shut up! You're not a reserved girl at all. I've already arranged a date for you, but you're still with this bastard. Are you trying to piss me off!"
"Madam, please don't make any noise here!" The guards stepped forward to stop her.
Thinking that the Medhurst family would back her up, Nancy pointed at Jack and said arrogantly, "How dare you complain that I'm noisy? Who allowed a gangster like him to come to such a high-end event? Are you blind?"
Hearing this, the expressions of the guests present suddenly became interesting. Everyone couldn't help looking at West.
The guests saw that Jack and West were sitting together and talking before the auction began, but now she said the lord was blind. Was she calling the Lord blind in front of everyone?
How dare she!
Nancy saw that the scene was silent and thought that everyone had been intimidated by her imposing manner. She became even prouder in front of Jack and said coldly, "You scourge, get out of here quickly. You don't deserve to come to such a place!" As she spoke, she reached out to pull Jack.
"Stop!" A cold shout suddenly rang out.
Nancy looked back and was stunned when she saw that the person who spoke was West, who often appeared on TV. "City... City Lord?" she shouted in a trembling voice.
"Who allowed you to cause trouble here?" West rebuked with a cold face.
"I, I didn't make trouble. I just wanted to drive this scourge out." Nancy smiled stiffly. "I really don't know what the security guards think of the door. They even let such a waste in. They're really blind."
"Mr. Steele was invited by me. Do you think I'm blind?" West roared angrily, exuding an air of superiority.
Nancy was so scared that her legs went weak. She fell to the ground and shook her head in a hurry, saying, "I, I didn't mean that. You misunderstood me!"
'This bastard doesn't even have a job. How could he be invited to such a charity party by the lord? It must be because of my daughter. Now Emily is famous in the city as a young female entrepreneur. Jack must take advantage of her identity as her boyfriend to get the opportunity to attend the charity party!' Thinking of this, she hated Jack even more.
West frowned and wanted to drive Nancy out, but Kaid came over and said, "City Lord, she is just here to give me calligraphy and painting. Please don't blame her for the sake of the Medhurst family."
Hearing this, West could not help but fall silent. The Medhurst family still had a great financial influence in South State. For the sake of the future development of Wyndcrest, West decided to give him face.
"Find a place to sit down and stop making noise." West said as he turned around and returned to his seat.
Nancy breathed a sigh of relief. She was more satisfied with Kaid, but when she saw Jack, she immediately became disgusted and indifferent.
"The real antique porcelain is here. The one on the stage is a fake!" Kaid strode onto the stage, raised another porcelain in his hand, and announced loudly.
The eyes of the guests kept darting back and forth between the porcelain in the hands of Kaid and the porcelain on the auction stage.
"Do you have any evidence to prove that what you said is true?" West asked with a gloomy face.
"Because I spent three million on this porcelain at the largest auction house in South State. It can't be fake!" Kaid said proudly.
"This fake porcelain must have cost Jack 30 dollars to buy from sss. Hahaha!" Kaid laughed, picked up the porcelain on the stage, and threw it directly on the table.
"How dare you!" Seeing this, West was so angry that he trembled all over and shouted.
Kaid was shocked. He couldn't understand why West was so furious. After all, it was just a fake!
West quickly stepped onto the stage and carefully checked the porcelain on the table. He glared at Kaid with red eyes and shouted, "How dare you to smash this porcelain? f**k off!"
