Hearing Simon's plea, Jack replied, "Have Drake protect Cindy. Also, get a card from him. I'll go with you to find Tina."
Since Simon recognized Tina as the benefactor who saved him years ago, there was no way he would stand by while she was in danger.
Moreover, with the casino connected to Jerry and his associates, Jack decided to investigate the situation personally.
Once Drake arrived at Dragon Crest, Simon and Jack sped off towards the underground casino located on the outskirts of Wyndcrest. The car raced down the road, and they soon arrived at the city's outskirts.
After stepping out of the car, Jack said to Simon, "Tonight's main objective is to save people. Let's not cause any unnecessary trouble."
"Roger!" Simon nodded firmly.
The two moved with lightning speed, so much so that the guards at the casino entrance felt something brush past them, but when they looked around, they saw nothing unusual.
As soon as Jack entered the casino's main hall, he frowned deeply, hit with the overpowering smell of m*******a and cigars.
The gamblers in his line of sight had all become desperate, their eyes bloodshot. Those who lost all their money quickly ran to the counter to sign high-interest loan contracts without a moment's hesitation.
Jack sniffed the air carefully and detected a faint scent of a stimulant mixed in with the m*******a and cigars. This substance was designed to induce extreme excitement and a loss of rationality in those who inhaled it. It was clear that this casino was maliciously luring people into taking out high-interest loans.
"You go find Tina. I'll look around." Jack instructed. Simon nodded and left.
Jack wandered around the casino. Having fought on the battlefield for eight years, his nerves were exceptionally strong, making him immune to the effects of the drug.
Suddenly, he noticed a familiar figure being forcibly escorted out by two of the casino's security guards from a corner of the hall.
Jack immediately followed. The two guards led the person into a suite at the end of the corridor and stood watch outside the door.
"What are you doing here? You shouldn't be here. Get lost!" one of the guards shouted when he noticed Jack, trying to shoo him away.
But Jack swiftly approached and knocked him out with a single punch. The other guard barely had time to reach for his walkie-talkie before Jack rendered him unconscious as well.
Pushing the door open, Jack entered just as an ashtray came flying towards his head. He dodged the attack effortlessly and immediately grabbed the wrist of the assailant.
"Let go of me!" a familiar voice, filled with panic, shouted.
"Ms. Gates, it's me." Jack said, turning on the room's light.
"Jack?!" Eleen's eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at her former student. Her expression quickly changed, and she took two steps back, looking disappointed and pained. "So, you're one of the owners of this casino?"
"What owner?" Jack asked, not understanding.
Eleen's face was filled with disappointment and anguish as she said, "I can agree to this once, but just this once! After this, please let my ex-husband go. I don't want to have any further contact with him." As she spoke, she started to undress.
Jack quickly stopped her. "Ms. Gates, you've misunderstood. I'm not affiliated with this casino."
"Huh?" Eleen blushed with embarrassment and quickly put her clothes back on. Although she was in her thirties, her figure was still alluring.
"Ms. Gates, are you here to save someone?" Jack asked, changing the subject.
"Yes." Eleen replied with a bitter smile. "My ex-husband used me as collateral to borrow money from the casino. They've been harassing me ever since, so I came here hoping to pay off his debt."
She sighed, "But I didn't expect he owed over two million. I couldn't pay it back. But when I tried to leave, they wouldn't let me. They said I could erase the debt by sleeping with the casino's owner."
Jack's expression turned cold as he listened. This underground casino not only used mind-altering drugs but was also involved in illegal detention and possibly r**e.
The boss of this place truly had a devilish heart. "Let me take you out of here, Ms. Gates." he said.
"Thank you so much." Eleen said gratefully, breathing a sigh of relief.
Jack led Eleen out, but as they passed a certain door, a desperate voice suddenly called out from inside, "Eleen, please save me! Help me!"
Eleen froze in her tracks and looked toward the room. "That's my ex-husband, Jason. Can we take him with us?" she asked, pointing at the door.
Jack stepped forward and broke the lock. Jason immediately rushed out, his body filthy and his face covered in an unkempt beard. He excitedly moved to kiss Eleen as soon as he saw her.
"Stay away from me!" Eleen said, disgusted, as she hid behind Jack.
Jason looked at Eleen and Jack, then sneered, "You've already found yourself a pretty boy? You're shameless!"
"Shut up! There's nothing between Jack and me!" Eleen glared at him coldly. "Jack is taking me out of here. We can take you with us, but after this, we have no further relationship. Don't think you can come bother me again!"
Jason's expression changed constantly, unable to accept that his ex-wife was living a better life than he was. Suddenly, he started shouting at the top of his lungs, "Help! Somebody help! Someone's trying to escape!!"
His shouting instantly alerted all the guards and security in the hall! The sound of hurried footsteps echoed in the hallway as the guards quickly converged on their location.
