"What did you say?" Jack's face filled with a murderous intent.

"What happened, General?" the governor immediately asked.

Jack said nothing. He quickly walked out, and no one dared to stop him!

Drake shot a sharp glance at the crowd. "If anything happens to his parents' graves, you'll all pay!"

Hearing this, Victor and Homas broke out in a cold sweat and began trembling uncontrollably. They quickly knelt before the governor and pleaded in panic, "We're sorry. Please save us!"

Victor's forehead was bleeding, but he didn't dare to stop kowtowing.

James remained silent, looking at Drake. It was clear he was leaving the decision of life or death up to Drake.

Drake said coldly, "If you want to live, tell me who ordered you to deal with Mr. Steele."

"Ah?" Victor was shocked and momentarily lost in thought. But then he quickly said, "I don't know what you're talking about. I just received a report that someone was pretending to be General Steele, so I..."

"Enough!" Drake shouted coldly. "If you don't cherish the chance to live, don't blame us for being ruthless."

"Everything in the city will be dealt with according to the law. Mr. Steele is an Immortal General of the Federation. It is treason to illegally detain him and use torture!"

"Yes!" James immediately agreed.

Just as Drake was about to leave, Victor completely collapsed. He stepped forward and hugged Drake's thigh. "General, I'll confess, I'll confess everything! It's... Puff!" Victor opened his mouth, but a dart from outside the door pierced through his head! His body swayed and fell to the ground, and he didn't reveal who was behind it!

Drake frowned and turned to chase after the attacker, but he only saw a figure disappearing at an extremely fast speed.

On the other side, two excavators had been driven near the tombs of Robert and his wife. The Shaw family, the Steele family, and others had gathered and were commanding the excavators to move forward.

"Stop!" Suddenly, a shout was heard. Everyone turned their heads and saw it was Lily. She ran over and stood in front of the grave with her arms wide open.

Zachary sneered, "Lily, are you going to interfere with this matter?"

Lily was unmoved, her eyes firm. "I won't let you dig up Jack's parents' tombs!"

"Mind your own business; I'll go teach her a lesson!" Lisa couldn't hold it in any longer. She quickly walked up to Lily and slapped her.

"Pa!" Lily instantly blushed.

"Get out of my way, or I'll kill you!" Lisa roared hysterically, her face ferocious, but Lily still stood in her way and remained silent.

"I'm so angry, you stupid woman!" Lisa was furious and grabbed Lily by her long hair.

"Ah!" Lily cried out in pain. She gritted her teeth and clutched the protruding stone tightly with her fingers, refusing to move an inch.

Lisa continued to pull Lily's long hair hard until Lily was bleeding from her head.

"Lisa, come back!" Zachary said coldly.

"Go and kill her," he ordered the head bodyguard beside him.

The captain of the bodyguards stepped forward with an iron rod and struck Lily heavily on the back of the head.

"Bang!"

"Ah!" Lily screamed. She felt dizzy, and the scene before her blurred. She vaguely saw Jack running toward her, but it seemed like an illusion, and she couldn't see clearly.

She forced a smile and murmured, "I'm sorry, I can't hold on any longer..."

Zachary said coldly, "Hurry up and drag her away. What a waste of time!"

"Yes!" The head bodyguard was about to drag Lily away, but he found that the woman was still holding the stone tightly even after she fainted.

"How troublesome!" The captain said coldly. He pulled out a sharp dagger and stabbed it at Lily's neck.

There was a sudden explosion in the air! As soon as the captain heard the sound, he looked up and saw a stone flying toward him like lightning.

"Bang!" The captain was struck by the stone and spat out blood.

"What the hell is that?!" Everyone hastily looked in the direction of the stone.

"Jack?!" Zachary recognized him immediately and shouted in surprise. The others' faces also changed, showing hints of fear in their eyes. Even Victor couldn't deal with this guy. Who the hell was he?

Soon, Jack arrived at the grave and carefully cradled Lily in his arms. He called out softly, "Lily?" When he saw Lily's severe injuries, a trace of cruelty appeared in his eyes. "Who did this?!"

He looked up at Zachary and began to release his terrifying killing intent with all his might. Zachary felt as if an invisible hand was grasping his throat, and he was so scared he couldn't breathe.

"Lily, Lily, wake up!" Jack kept calling out to Lily until she finally opened her eyes with difficulty. She looked at the man in front of her with a smile on her bloodied face. 'This is the first time we have been so close to each other. Unfortunately, I can't hold on any longer.' The woman struggled to raise her hand, but before it could touch him.

At that moment, Jack felt as if he was about to break down! His heart seemed to have been punched so hard that he couldn't breathe.

"All of you will pay the price!"

Jack glared at everyone present with bloodshot eyes and roared.
