I spun around and came face-to-face with Grace's pale, bloodless face.
Her eyes were bloodshot, her skin was unnaturally white, and sharp fangs protruded from the corners of her mouth.
She was a high-level vampire. And judging by the way she looked right now, she was clearly ready to fight me.
I didn't waste a second.
I lifted my leg and kicked her hard in the knee. She wasn't expecting it and stumbled back two steps.
"Cathy, you think Brian protecting you means there's nothing I can do to you?" Grace's expression was vicious. "You ruined my reputation at school. I'm never going to let you off the hook."
I wiped the blood from the corner of my mouth and laughed coldly. "You did that all by yourself. How is that my fault?"
She lunged at me, moving frighteningly fast.
