New Year’s Day 2025: Connor’s 16th 1st January Autumn rang the doorbell after her mom had dropped her off. Connor opened the door, pecking her in the cheek. “Come in, the guys are already here.” She stepped in and he closed the door. “It’s just us this year. Most of our year is on hols or visiting relatives.” “Okay.” They walked into the lounge where their friends were sitting. “Hey, Autumn.” “Guys.” “So are you going to give Con a birthday present he’ll never forget!!” Daniel nudged James. “Owe.” She flushed. “Ignore them Autumn, take a pew. And have a drink.” She sat on the sofa and Daniel passed her a beer. “Ignore them Red. They’re only jealous cause they ain’t getting any.” Connor sat next to her. ’Oh before I forget.” She said, pulling a box out of her pocket. “Happy birthday.” “Thanks.” He said, pecking her on the cheek, taking it off her and opening it. He pulled out the bracelet engraved “Connor.” On the back was engraved too. “ Thanks for everything. Friends forever.” He smiled, slipping it onto his wrist and kissing her. “I love it.” She flushed. “I see you’ve finally got her to blush, Con.” “I guess I did.” They drank more beers while dancing. Connor was holding Autumn close. Kissing her hungrily, with tongue. His friends passed out. “Come on let’s go to bed.” “Bu.” He took her hand, leading her out of the lounge upstairs into his room, closing the door. ’“Thanks for the bracelet, I’ll cherish it forever.” She smiled, and he pressed his lips on hers, kissing her hungrily. Their clothes fell to the floor, their naked bodies on the bed as they made love. 2nd January “Con, are you awake?” James said, pushing the door open to the two friends who lay naked under the covers. He shook his head, closing the door. He just had to tell the guys. Autumn slowly came around her head throbbing. “Ouch.” “You okay babe.” She turned, looking dazed at him. What had happened? “You okay babe?” “What happened?” He pulled himself up. “What does it look like?” “I’m so sorry, Con, it can’t happen again. The guys.” “Guess they already know. No matter how pissed they are, they’ll be up come seven am.’ “Oh s**t, I…” “Now we’re even.” She looked at him. “What?!” “We both give each other what we both wanted. Your hot pissed babe.” “I’m sorry, this can’t happen again.” “Why not?” “It just can’t.” He glided his hand down her face. “What about now?” “What about it?” He edged forward. “Your naked, I’m naked.” “So.” “I’m horny.” “No Con.” ’Come on. One last time we’ll lie to them, let me f**k you one last time. I promise I won’t touch you again.” “Promise.” “Cross my heart.” She looked nervously at him. He pressed his lips on hers, kissing her passionately, slipping inside her and having s*x with her. He pulled away. “Come on, we had best get you back.” “What about the guys?” “Lie.” “Okay.” They pulled themselves up to get dressed. He pressed his lips on hers, kissing her. “Come on let’s go.” He took her hand and pulled her up, leaving his room and going downstairs to where their friends were. They Wolfe whistled. “Quit it guys.” “So you and Autumn, you know.” “No.” “Bull s**t Con Jae said you were both in your birthday suits.” “We were hot.” “In December, pull the other one.” “We were, come on, let’s go.” He opened the front door and they all stepped out. He closed it behind them, placing his arm over her shoulders as they all walked away. They all walked around the shopping centre till it closed. They all said their goodbyes and Connor walked Autumn home, sitting on the bench close to the lake. “You okay babe?” “Yeah. I’m fine.” “We had a good time, didn’t we?” “Yeah.” He looked at her. “Just forget about what happened, okay.” “I’ll try.” She said, knowing she wouldn’t. “We’re still friends, aren’t we?” “Yeah.’ “Good.” He kissed her softly. “I have to go, babe. I’ll see you tomorrow, okay.” “Okay.” He pulled himself up “Night babe.” “Yeah, night Con.” He walked away. “You know he always gets what he wants in the end, Red, he always does.” She looked up. “Dan.” “You okay babe?” “Yeah. Just thinking.” “Con knows what he wants, babe, he will get it in the end, trust me.” She looked at him. It was already too late for that. “Just be one step ahead, okay.” “I will.” “I’ll see you on Monday.” “You will.” He kissed her on the cheek. “Later, Red.” “Yeah, Later Dan.” He walked away, leaving her alone to her thoughts. She doubted out her cigarette, pulled herself up and walked away. She closed the door behind her, leaping up the stairs and going into her room, closed the door, falling on the bed, tears hitting her pillow. How could Connor be so insensitive to even think she’d be able to forget what had happened? 6th January It was the day before they returned to school Autumn had been discharged from the hospital land and had been given medication for depression and anxiety. Everyone was just glad she’d pulled through. Connor had never left her side he had blamed himself for her sudden outburst. He wanted her to have time to herself whilst he dealt with his feelings towards her, he knew he should never have put their friendship thrift this by taking away her virginity. But he was glad it was him and not some prick in their school that would throw her away like trash and move on to the next. He was also surprised that her ex-boyfriend had never had s*x with her. He hadn’t regretted it just the words that come out of his stupid mouth he should’ve known they’d hurt her she was so fragile but he just didn’t realise how much they would. He’d tried to stay away from her so she could deal with what happened between them but instead, it had caused her to self-harm once again, f**k Con you funking i***t you should know she’s fragile yet you let your mouth f*****g run idiotic words and you left her all alone for days without even a hello and how are you doing you f*****g i***t. He had stopped with her the past few days and had -not gone home til today. He’d told her he’d call when he got home and before bed to make sure she was up to going to school tomorrow. He knew she had Harding and he would twist her around his little finger to tell him about all of this god he hoped she didn’t. He’d kissed her forehead and. Said goodnight before leaving. As promised he’d called her when he’d arrived home and before he went to bed. She had decided that what had happened she wanted to forget so she decided that she didn’t wish to share with Mathew Harding it was just a setback and she wanted to forget it ever happened but could she?
