Living The Past

Chapter 9 - Lunch with Sandra.

Me and Sandra sat at the table eating our lunch.

“What’s it like being with Alpha Charles?” Sandra asked. I looked at her, I really wasn’t sure how to respond to that. “I mean, everyone always thought he was so handsome, it was kinda a surprise when he accepted a arranged marriage to a commoner.” I made a face.

“A commoner?” I asked her.

“I’m sorry, a person we really hadn’t heard of before. All anyone knew was you lived in the village.” Sandra took a sip from her tea.

“It’s true I did live in the village. Did he never say why to anyone? Why our marriage was arranged?” I asked her, curious now.

“I asked Alex, he wouldn’t say much about it. Only that you were strong with magic.” I nodded to Sandra’s words. Just then Charles and Alex came in and I turned.

“Oh darling!” I said as he came over and gave me a kiss.

“How are things ladies?” Alex asked.

“We are having a nice time, just having a pleasant chat.” I smiled.

“Yes! We were going to go look at the nursery. See it’s progress.” Sandra said. Charles took my hand as I stood up.

“We will come with!” Charles lead me to the door and Alex nodded. We all walked out into the hall.

“You know Julia, it’s nice to finally meet you. Charles certainly has kept you under lock and key.” Alex laughed. Charles shot him a look. “Sorry Alpha!” He said still chuckling.

“Yes, I think he just wanted our first few months to be private while I adjusted to everything.” I smiled at Charles who smiled back.

“Oh I understand,You were very overwhelmed at the Luna ceremony it seemed.” Sandra held onto Alex’s arm. I had forgotten about that.

“Oh yes the ceremony. There was that weird wind that pushed over some of the commoners. We assumed someone used some wind magic, but couldn’t determined what happened.” Alex said. Neither I or Charles said a word.

“Here we are!” Charles said showing the small house like structure just off from the garden.

“It’s a lot bigger then I thought!” Sandra said in amazement. Her and Alex went forward looking at the structure.

“Did you not tell them about my abilities?” I whispered to Charles. He looked at me confused.

“Alex knows, but I asked him not to tell anyone, why?” He was curious.

“Sandra was asking why you would marry a commoner.” I said looking at him.

“Surely she didn’t say that!” Charles said.

“It’s going to be beautiful Charles.” Alex said walking back with Sandra on his arm.

“It will be ready soon, then you both can decorate it.” Charles said looking to us girls.

“Oh Julia! Won’t that be amazing?!” Sandra was excited, I nodded and smiled at her. We started walking off toward the garden and I was listening to the stillness of the air. It had just changed to winter. I stopped and everyone looked at me.

“What is it?” Charles asked concerned.

“It’s going to snow.” I said looking at the clouds.

“Well then, even more reason to get you ladies inside.” Charles smiled.

“Yes, I wouldn’t want either of you sick. Carrying our future alpha and Luna of course.” Alex said smiling at Sandra who smiled wide at him. I could tell my face was giving off a unpleasant tone. I turned my head away. We went in and Charles escorted me back to the room. I sat and sighed a sigh of relief.

“What was that face you made earlier?” He asked standing near the door.

“When?” I asked.

“When Alex mentioned the alpha and Luna thing.” We stood in silence for a moment.

“Nothing.” I said picking up my book.

“That wasn’t nothing, you almost looked disgusted.” Charles said getting angry now.

“Charles, it was nothing. Just thought Sandra was rude today so I may have turned my nose up a bit.” I lied. I didn’t want to argue with him.

“I’ve already agreed to the arranged marriage and I won’t go back in my word.” He said to me in a more serious tone.

“I understand. I’m not trying to get you to change your mind.” I put the book down and gave him my full attention.

“Good.” He walked over and kissed me. “I love you, I’ll be back later.” My eyes widened.

“You do?” I asked, he had never said that.

“Yes.” I pulled him to me kissing him.

“I love you.” I said and he smiled. He straightened up and cleared his throat.

“I’ll be back tonight.” As he was walking out, Miranda came in and bowed as he left. She was holding a tray with tea on it and a few cookies. She came over and placed them down.

“How was your meeting miss?” She poured a cup for me.

“It was ok, I guess I don’t care much for people.” I picked up my book and started reading.

As the day went on I sat by the window watching the snow. I knew it was going to snow. I watched the large flakes gather on the ground. I heard the door open and Charles came in.

“You were right, snow.” He came over and put his hand on my shoulder.

“It’s so beautiful.” I said and he pulled my face to look at him.

“You’re so beautiful.” He kissed me and started rubbing my chest.

“Charles! The baby!” I said getting up to change into my night gown.

“The doctor said it was fine.” He came over helping me out of my dress. I picked up my night gown and he swatted it away as he kissed my neck. I giggled.

“Are you not going to help me dress?” I asked.

“I would rather do something else.” He said seductively. He rubbed my breasts and I turned to look at him. He kissed me and picked me up onto the dresser. I deepened our kiss as he removed his pants. I felt him positioning himself at my opening and I looked at him as he pushed into me.

“Oh Charles.” I leaned my head back as he slowly thrust. He kissed and then sucked on my n*pples. Pleasure was shooting through me. He slowly began to move faster but it had been so long since we had been like this that I could hardly contain myself. I gripped onto him accidentally scratching his shoulder. This somehow excited him and encouraged him. As he let out a moan when I did.

“Again.” He said in a eager but heavy breath. I moaned feeling myself build to my release. I ran my hands on his back and then dug in. “Oh f*ck Julia.” He held me as he came. I was almost there. He pulled out of me and placed me back down. I smiled at him and he kissed me. “Amazing.” He said as he walked over and started to undress for bed. I grabbed my nightgown alittle peeved. I guess as long as he got there.
