I woke up alone. Charles never came back. I got out of bed and I paced for hours until I heard the door unlock. Charles walked in and we stared at each other.
“Sandra wants to have lunch in the nursery at noon.” He turned to walk away. I couldn’t let him lock me in here.
“I’m sorry.” I said and he stopped. “I love you, I was over the line yesterday.” I forced myself to say the words I said. I started to cry from the heart ache, Charles thought it was for him. He slowly walked over and hugged me.
“I too am sorry my love. We will never fight like that again. I promise you.” He wiped my tears and kissed me. “Now get dressed, let’s go down and have breakfast.” He smiled acting like nothing happened yesterday. I suddenly felt weak again.
“Did you drain my magic again?” I said alittle up
