I waited until Fredrick fell asleep and I slipped out of his grasp. I tip toed out to the door and slowly slipped out making sure not to make much noise. Once I got the door closed. I straightened up and sighed relief.
“Julia?” I heard Ashley’s voice and turned to see Henry and Ashley. Ashley looked shocked.
“Sorry, he just fell asleep. He was up in his office all night.” I said trying to explain myself.
“I guess it would be rude to ask, let’s just go eat and pretend this didn’t happen?” Ashley said smiling.
“Nothing did happen, but yes.” I said and I looked at Henry. He seemed somewhat angry and I suddenly felt bad.
“It’s ok Julia.” Ashley said as she started walking again. Henry gestured for me to go and I proceeded behind Ashely. We got to dining room and all took our seats. T
