It was a Friday evening.
Ashley was invited to David's house, so she could meet with his Dad and Rachel. She gave herself a final look in the mirror before she finally left her room.
“I want you back home before nine, okay?” her Mom instructed.
“Okay Mom” she nodded and checked her wristwatch, it was just 6:30. “That's enough time,” she muttered to herself.
“See you later Mom '' David's driver was waiting outside for her, and she didn't want to keep him waiting, so she waved at her Mom and left the house.
“I miss my single daughter”, her Mom said to herself when she was alone.
