“You should get back to me after talking to Ashley on my behalf, okay?” Vanessa said as they pulled away from the hug.
“Sure, I'll definitely do that,” David said and smiled at her before going back to his desk.
Ashley wasn't in her seat for the rest of the classes after lunch break and David wondered what could have happened to her. When David couldn't stop worrying, he excused himself from class to go look around for her.
“Have you seen Ashley?” He asked Olivia after running into her.
“I saw her heading to the basketball court after lunch break, but I'm not sure if she will still be there”
“Thank you very much” he said and, without wasting another second, she hurried to the basketball court hoping Ashley would still be there, and luckily she was.
