Blue Door 2

I gathered what I could find to burn I was tired so tired, I focused on the wet leaves and wood I had gathered until they started to smoke and spark I had started a fire it had worked 

Sky; Great I started a fire now what do I do 

voice; rest we are safe here, for now, we will continue up the mountain when we have rested 

I curled up and fell asleep I'm not sure how long I had slept but when I woke I felt somewhat refreshed so I put out the flames which were still going strong and continued up the mountain when I had passed two or three small caves I felt drawn to a cave in the side of the mountain I walked over to it, it was empty dry and felt welcoming my legs hurt my head hurt and I needed a break I was done with this test I wanted to wake in my bed with my family and celebrate my birthday.

what must my brothers and sisters think my mother would know what was going on but from the sounds of it she couldn't tell them what must they be thinking what would my mother tell them ugh this is too much! 

I felt an uneasy presence and looked around when I looked toward the opening of the cave there stood a very scary angry looking white tiger it stood there and stared at me for a while before it turned around and left, over what felt like hours several big and small animals came across the cave and all seamed to do the same stand there look me over and silently walk away without a second glance, a cat, a dog, a rabbit, a tiger, a lion, a bear even a snake and a lizard then I felt it it was like a pull like I was being called I looked over and a huge wolf stood at the opening of the cave I wanted to go to it I felt no fear of this animal who could probably rip me to shreds and I heard it as clear as hearing my voice 

...... You've finally come, I have been waiting 

Sky; huh do you know me 

...... I don't know this version of you no but I recognize your spirit as you recognized mine we have been together for a very long time 

Sky; what is your name 

..... before I was known as Kahn that was the name you gave me last but you must give me another name or we can keep to the last what you call me is what my name is 

I stood there staring at him for a while before a name popped into my head 

Sky; Ronan from here on you will be called Ronan 

the wolf came over and bit my forearm just enough to draw blood he licked his lips and declared that from this point on we would be as one.

Ronan; I have missed your presence although you do not remember me as of yet I have always been by your side although it has not always been in this form 

Sky; Always? 

Ronan: yes in every life you have lived I have been with you, I have waited patiently at every crossing for you to come of age so that we could once again come together 

Sky; soooo were friends? 

Ronan; No we are one we are part of each other I will guide and protect you as you will guide and protect me as we have always done 

Sky; so what are you? exactly 

Ronan; I am as I have always been your familiar 

 at those words  I was pulled back to the hallway where a white door stood before me Ronan was no longer beside me and I felt as though I was missing a part of myself, I shook off the feeling told myself this was the last door the last test then I could go home and be with my family.

I started for the door before two things occurred to me the first thing was that I hadn't heard my inner voice since that last cave the second was that this was my last test and I had no idea what it was but I might not wake to my family they said something about my losing myself and not returning home but I couldn't remember exactly what they said what would happen if that happened. I stood there staring at it before I finally reached up and pulled it open.
