Try to love your parents, the same way they love you❤
Rikza's POV:
The melodious sound of my alarm was enough for me to get back to sleep. I curled my toes and smiled inwardly as I encouraged myself to doze off yet again.
You might be thinking that how an alarm tone could sound melodious to ears right?
Well, honestly speaking my alarm tone does. Trust me!
I fisted my pillow and snuggled more under my blanket just when I heard the beautiful voice of Adhaan (the call for prayer).
Still my eyes half closed, I took my mobile to turn off the alarm that was buzzing beside me. I read the morning supplication. Meanwhile, I rubbed my eyes followed by the blowing of my nostrils three times as I attained the Sunnah.
I barged into the washroom hurriedly as I couldn't resist the nature's call. I then did ablution inorder to perform Fajr Salah, the first prayer of the day. I stood in my rug to perform my four Rakaaths (cycles) of the Namaz. I then started reading the morning supplications. I blew the air on my palm and spread my hands all over my body. After completely satisfied with my prayers, I headed downstairs greeting my lovely parents who were enjoying their morning tea.
Daddy was reading newspaper as usual. I sat beside my daddy in a very childish manner (I mean like falling on the sofa not exactly sitting in a very descent manner) to which my mom gave me a glare and it was obvious of me to ignore it.
Daddy folded the newspaper and asked "How did my princess slept?"
to which I replied,
"Alhamdulillah, slept well dad"
Mommy sat there watching us sipping her tea.
_______________
It's the first day of my school, YAYY.
Don't think I'm in a first grade.
What I actually mean is, it's actually my first day after my holidays.
Well...I don't consider it as a holiday because I really don't think that only a minimal limit of 10 days could be declared as a HOLIDAY.
Instead, I will name it as LEAVE.
Who are with me guyz?
I'm a 12th standard graduate, so we had special classes, phew!
I took the newspaper, turning the pages eventually. My eyes scrolled through in search of some interesting topics and when I found NONE, I closed it.
Mommy asked,
"Riku dear, what would you like to have for breakfast?"
I replied,
"Ma kaa looni (macrooni) in a childish manner. She smiled as she made her way to the kitchen.
I came up to my room to fetch my new diary from the wardrobe and started writing.
Let me tell you, I have a habit of writing personal diary which I really don't like share it with anyone.
I started writing diaries when I was in 9th standard, so basically I have 4 diaries including the new one. The first day of my school is the first page of my diary.
I mean I start a new diary every year right from the very first day of my school. I hope it's not that hard to understand.
'Let's begin writing Girl' I screamed to myself in excitement and started writing not before reciting Bismillah (In the name of Allah).
My expectations are hopefully high that In sha Allah, this year gonna be really wonderful for me. Aameen.

Hello Diary,
It's ME Rikza Hashim who owns You!
I'm a 12th standard student and it's my first day at school.
YAYY, I'm so Excited!!
I woke up an hour ago and prayed Fajr salah. I went downstairs to greet my parents and then asked mommy to prepare my favourite makalooni (macrooni).
I have some more time to leave for school, so right now I am writing everything in you, so, PLEASE
co-operate with me Yaar (buddy). I will share everything with you which consists of my routine, my feelings, how I spent my whole day and etc etc.
It was my hobby to write diaries, but now it's like craziness more like an obsession. I will feel uneasy unless I blabber out everything to you.
I mean, I won't sleep the whole night, the day I won't write it (may be for some odd reasons).
So Here I Go. Let me properly introduce you.
I'm sensitive, brave, crazy girl living a very happy life, with my Ma sha Allah very lovely parents.
I'm very talkative, so bear with ME. I know YOU won't answer me, Huh.!!
I'm a huge die-hard fan of Zaid Ali and yeah,I would like to call myself A ZaidAlit❤
I loVe chocolates.
[Well..who on this earth will not like it, Am I right?]
Luckily, I'm the only kid to my parents, so it's kinda obvious that I'm pampered a lot. Blessed!
My father is my HERO and my Role model. HE is my Ideal,My first love and my strength. The bravery I possess is hereditary which I inherited from my DAD. I know he is always beside me whenever I need him. No matter what happens, I will always make him feel proud of ME. In sha Allah.
Love you DADDU! (I'm used to call him this whenever I feel proud to have him).
I'm His PRINCESS, Eeeyyy.
ENOUGH of my Introduction now, I'm kinda getting late.
Time-up to get ready for school.
BABYE, See ya later.
_____________
I kept my diary on my drawer before I went to bathroom to refresh my crazy mood. I came back with a strong determination of studying hard
Insha Allah and score highest marks, Aameen..
At the dining hall:
Mommy : "Beta,Why you aren't ready yet?
Wear your uniform, comb your hair, where is your backpack?
Ahem!!And now she started ranting..
"You are in 12th and look at you, still you behave like a small kid. When will you ever grow up?"
I looked at myself obeying her *winks*
See Muftiha (my cousin sister)
I rolled my eyes to see her and sadly I couldn't find her.
"How she helps her mom in the kitchen, prepare breakfast not only for her, but for the whole unlike you. You could not even make for YourSelf".
Honestly speaking, I felt embarrassed a bit.
She is of the same age as yours. When SHE could do such good things, then why not YOU my dear?
My daughter is very lazy, etc etc..
Awwwwhhh, NOT AGAIN. I thought to myself. Well, Who would like to hear another lecture on discipline and manners if I say thiS out AlOUD? Definitely Not ME for sure.
'I'm not gonna leave you muffin'. (pet name for 'THE great', Muftiha)
I said in a very low voice, anger dripping within me.
I simply wonder whether,
"Does every DESI MOMS acts like this? So typical Or Am I the only girl in this whole world listening to these Rants DAILY?"
I replied to my Mommy,
"I WILL get ready after having my breakfast. I'm feeling hungry as my stomach is growling"
I said pouting and kept my hands on my totally empty lil stomach, completely ignoring her LONG speech.
At the mean time, Daddy entered the hall smiling at my childish behaviour. He motioned me to sit next to him and I did.
We waited for the delicious mac and when I was about to open the dish eagerly, she gave me a glare trying to scare me but when she witnessed that I'm not scared of her stares anymore, she yelled,
"RIKU! Wash Your hands First,GO". She emphasized on each & every word that unfortunately compelled me to leave my seat.
I stood from my seat and ran to the kitchen to wash my hands. I then had my favourite breakfast.
Alhamdulillah, with a full stomach now, I was jumping around my room excited to go to school. Nopes! Correction. I'm actually excited to meet my Friends.

At 8:30 AM :
I was ready and was waiting for my school van when my Dad beckoned me to sit beside him to which I obeyed as a very obedient child.
"Listen beta, now you are a grown-up girl, you are a higher secondary student and most of all, the seniors of the whole school".
It was the first time for me to hear an advice from my dad to which I was really listening to him attentively.
"So don't start bullying your juniors or do any kind of ragging, okay?"
He stopped as he looked at me. I smiled and nodded my head a bit to assure him that I agreed. He then adviced,
"Its the most important part of your school life. All your career depends on your marks, so I want my daughter to score the highest marks and make her dad proud. I'm sure I can trust my beti". (Endearment)
"Do not waste your time on unnecessary activities and focus on your studies. I expect that my daughter will never break my expectations, right?"
NEVER in my life I've seen him so serious.
I replied peacefully,
"DADDY, I will not do anything that will embarrass you or let your head down in shame because of ME. And I PROMISE that I'll try my best to score the highest marks, In sha Allah".
He smiled at me and repeated
"Insha allah" just when I heard the horn of my school van.
"ALLAH HAFIZ" I screamed on top of my lungs such that mom could hear my voice who was busy in the kitchen. I waved my hands to Daddu and ran outside.
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever dreamt that I would have to witness something related to this in future. Never did I ever expected to live a moment which I dreaded the most.
