We pulled up to the venue, and holy s**t, it was insane. The building was massive…straight out of some fairytale or something.
The boss hopped out of the car, all smooth-like, and walked around to my side. He swung my door open and stood there like the perfect gentleman, waiting for me.
“Thanks,” I mumbled, still a little awkward, and he just gave me a small nod before taking my arm and leading me inside.
My heart was going nuts, pounding so hard I thought it might explode. I had no idea what to expect, being surrounded by a bunch of bloodsucking vampires.
