CHAPTER II

DOMENICO FERRARI 5 Months Ago Flying to my brother's club opening was definitely not how I planned to spend my weekend. Matteo was a pain in my ass but as the youngest, he was definitely mamma's favorite even though she would deny it if we ever asked her and that was the only reason we were all here because we loved mamma and we would do whatever she wanted us to do. Spending the night at one of New York's biggest club with beautiful ladies throwing themselves at me was one of the things I loved doing when I was immature but taking over the mafia had changed me a lot. Looking over the club, I could spot some of my brothers with model worthy ladies either on their laps or grinding against them on the dance floor. Walking over to me, Matteo spoke"Fratello, volevo che venissi qui per divertirti e se avessi saputo che saresti stato così noioso, non ti avrei invitato"(Brother, I wanted you to come here to have fun and If I had known you would be such a bore, I wouldn't have bothered to invite you). I replied him"Parli come se avessi una scelta per decidere se volevo venire qui o no" (You speak as if I had a choice in deciding whether I wanted to come here or not). Like as if whatever I had just said flew over his head, he kept talking"Comunque, dato che non sai come divertirti, ho deciso di aiutarti a divertirti"(Whatever, since you don't know how to have fun I have decided to help you have fun). Snapping his fingers, he smirked at me and walked away as two ladies dressed in something that should be classified as illegal walked up to me. As one started to caress me the other began to lower herself into my lap, but before she could lower herself completely, I spoke in a cold voice like I used in dealing with matters at work " How much do you both value your body parts", the blonde one responded with a seductive voice but unfortunately I wasn't feeling it " very much sir". Chuckling, I told her " I don't think you do, because if you did, you wouldn't still be standing here. Now I'm going to say this once, if you value your life you would get the f**k out of my sight before I get too mad". Like cats out of water, the both of them sprinted out of my sight,I loved the effect I had on people. Deciding to take a walk, I got up and walked to the door, I was halfway there when this petite lady bumped into me, I was about to snap at her when she raised her big doe grey eyes to me and giggled. I was mesmerized, she was clearly drunk with how she was swaying and slurring while trying to apologize. "I-I'm so-so-sorry", finishing her words, she burst into another fit of giggles. I couldn't help but stare at her, she clearly did notice me staring at her as she tried to turn then ended up almost toppling over me. "Mi pentirò di questo, hey there, careful I think you've had too much to drink , maybe it's time to go home, you should probably call whoever you came with"( I'm going to regret this). She started looking around the club and she replied me " I don't see anyone of my friends, I guess I'm gonna have to go on my own", I thought she was sober until she started another round of giggling. "I can't let you go on your own, come on I'll drop you". It looked like she was about to put up a fight until she thought better and gave me a nod. Leading her to my car, she kept stumbling and I had to carry her to the car. I was wondering what the hell had gotten into me, if any of my men or rivals or brothers saw this side of me, I'd be mortified. Halfway to her house using the address she had given me, I noticed she was falling asleep and I had to start a conversation with her to avoid that. We were deep in conversation when I pulled up at her house. I walked or more like carried her to the door and we waited for someone to open the door, when it did open, the lady that opened it looked so worried and couldn't stop thanking me for bringing her home safe. I just grunted and left. When I got home, my brothers were there surprisingly and sober. As soon as they saw me, they launched into a fit of questions "Dov'eri?, Quando te ne sei andato?"(where were you, when did you leave). Ignoring all their annoying chatter and questions, I went up the stairs to my room to change and get ready for the emergency at work.
