Selene made her way from the library back to the castle as quickly as she could, disappointed that she wasn't able to get her hands on the third volume of the book.
Hopping from rooftop to rooftop, she sighed, and then smiled. Skye had lied for her. She had kept her safe even when she barely knew her. Selene wondered what that could mean. Especially since she had responded to her impulsive flirting earlier.
Getting back to her window, she quickly climbed inside and changed into her nightgown, leaving her rogue outfit hidden under a blanket behind her privacy screen. Selene then headed over to her bed and laid down on it.
