"OK guys let's move out!" Ashton shouted and she was greeted by the sound of engines being started up. She herself was seated on her bike Aragon. She started her engine and took a deep breath. "Here we go."
In thirty minutes, Ashton parked in front of the Black Moon Pack house. She certainly down and looked around her and watched her wolves park themselves all around her. Some of her old pack's members were gathered around and watched with curiosity and a bit of apprehension. She could read their thoughts easily. No she wasn't telepathic, just good at reading people. They were nervous because seemingly a large number of rogues entered their territory without a warning.
Which means they didn't know about their coming. Oh well, that was Rhydian's business. She... just wanted to get this s**t over with. Siarena was all jumpy at the proximity to their mate.
No. No. Not their mate. Ex-mate. Past tense. She'd moved on. She didn't have a mate. And she was fine that way.
'No you're not,' Siarena countered. 'WE are not fine.'
'Yes we are,' she shot back and blocked Siarena out.
"What y'all looking at?!!" she yelled at the pack wolves, some of her Luna tone leaking into her voice making them cringe a bit. Some if them left hurriedly and some stood their ground fixing her with glares. She flipped them the bird.
"Alright guys scram before the Alpha gets here."
She turned around her hand still in the air and looked at the guy behind her. She c****d her head to a side bringing her hand down and observed him. He was young. Say twenty? But he exuded power. Obviously not Beta level so probably Gamma.
Huh? What happened to Chris? Wasn't he Gamma anymore.
He wore a navy blue sweat shirt and black pants. His hair was messy but didn't make him look rough in any way. In fact, it made him look more handsome.
"You must be the Gamma," she said in a firm, brisk tone. His eyes narrowed slightly.
"Yes I am," he said extending his hand to her. She took it encasing his hand in a warm but firm grip. For some reason, his wolf calmed down at her touch. It wasn't like he does when his mate touched him.
It was more of a motherly and big sisterly feel all at the same time. But all the same, the power she exuded made it obvious who she was.
"The name's Damian."
"Ash."
'Is that all she's gonna say?' he thought. All the same, she was a rogue and therefore, being on a pack's land must be annoying the hell out of her.
She detached her hand. "Alright then. Let's get this over with," Aston said with a neutral face. She turned her head to look around. "Where's Rhydian?"
Damian growled at the casualness of her tone when calling his alpha.
"That's Alpha Stone you you mutt!!!!" His eyes had already changed and now we're glowing. Serena answered back, taking control of Ashton's body before she knew it. Sirena wrapped her fingers around his throat and slammed him hard on the ground. A small crater formed beneath him from the force. Damian felt blood bubble up in his throat and the hand around his neck made it hard to breath.
"YOU WILL NOT TAKE THAT TONE WITH ME MR. OR SO HELP ME MOTHER," she brought their faces closer. "I wil--" she was cut-off by a voice she never believed would still be able to send shivers down her spine.
A voice she didn't want to hear ever a again.
"Let go of my Gamma Ashton."
She looked up. Sirena growled at him. She wasn't exactly pleased to see the bastard either! But she smiled all the same. A cold smile that made his blood chill.
"Hello Alpha Stone." She spat the "alpha" out with a sneer.
