Kesha's POV
"Grabe I can't believe ikakasal ka na, Karmina! Congrats!" My happiness for Karmina was above the sky.
"Thank you Kesha!
We were just waiting for the car and then gora na kami papuntang simbahan.
"Talaga lang ha? If I know, sobrang excited ka na sa honeymoon ninyo mamaya." Tinusok ko ang tagiliran niya.
"Shut up Kesha! Secret lang 'yon," she joked. "Ikaw ba? Twenty nine na tayo; we're not getting younger."
"You know I have different priorities."
Tsaka masarap ang ma-in love sis. Go get a man."
I shook my head.
"And what made you think na hindi ka se-swertehin sa isang lalake?
Karmina sighed and tapped my shoulder. "Basta sis, alam ko matalino kang tao; ikaw ang takbuhan ko kapag kailangan ko ng advice, kaya sana gamitin mo iyang talino mo to give yourself a chance to love again. Sige na, see you sa church."
I just nodded at her. My heart had so many scars that it locked itself away from any man in the world.
He was really familiar, I was pretty sure it was Paulo.
I knew Alexis way back when we were college, pero hindi ko na binanggit kay Karmina because Alexis was somehow connected to the father of my son at ayoko ng maungkat pa 'yon.
My gosh, if it wasn't for Karmina, hindi talaga ako a-attend sa kasal na 'to.
"I now pronounced you husband and wife; you may now kiss the bride."
Ngumiti na lang ako when I saw Alexis and Karmina, kissing. They really looked good together. I'm happy for her, natupad niya na ang isa sa mga pangarap ng halos lahat ng kababaihan. I wonder if this day would come to me.
So here I was with my daughter, naglilibot lang sa venue at kumakain.
I caressed my daughter's head, before travelling my sight again.
"Yes mommy."
I raised my hand to get the attention of the waiter.
"Can I take that?" I asked.
"Ah sure ma'am."
I smiled and got the glass. "Thank you."
Yumuko siya bago umalis sa harapan ko. I slightly shook and played with the glass of vodka while looking at Karmina who was busy chitchatting with someone.
I looked around and got worried when I saw her lying on the floor.
I walk as fast as I could until I reached her. "Amira, I told you to stay on my side."
She pointed the waiter, who was happy giving ice creams to children.
"Then you should have told mo, sweetie."
Umayos ako ng tayo to see the man standing in front of us and helped my daughter.
"Thank..." I paused; A thunderstorm hit my heart as I saw the heart breaker chocolate eyes, staring at me.
"E-excuse me?" Nanginig ang mga labi ko. I didn't know what the f**k to say.
"What the... Ikaw nga? s**t, I've been looking for you, Kesha." He looked surprise, he acted like we were still best friends; he acted like nothing happened at all in the past.
As if he didn't hurt me,
As if he didn't crash my heart,
As if he didn't get me pregnant.
Adam Imperial broke my heart and it stings for so many f*****g years.
