Chapter Twenty-SevenAberdeen, Scotland, July 1994 The St. Andrew Street building belonging to the Robert Gordon University's School of Life Sciences in Aberdeen housed some of the finest educational laboratories in the country. They contained a wide range of instruments enabling students to study a wide range of forensic applications. These included a varied selection of spectrometers, chromatographs, and DNA analysers. The building housed a dedicated forensic examination suite where specialist microscopes and document analysis equipment were housed, in addition to a room where crime scenes could be simulated for study.
