The St. Andrew Street building belonging to the Robert Gordon University's School of Life Sciences in Aberdeen housed some of the finest educational laboratories in the country. They contained a wide range of instruments enabling students to study a wide range of forensic applications. These included a varied selection of spectrometers, chromatographs, and DNA analysers. The building housed a dedicated forensic examination suite where specialist microscopes and document analysis equipment were housed, in addition to a room where crime scenes could be simulated for study.
