As Susan turned to leave, Chloe grabbed her. "So you're scared that people might find out you're the mistress?"
"What are you so smug about?" Susan sneered. "Even if Daniel loves you, what good is it when you can't have children? Didn't he still end up sleeping with me?"
"Sure, he did sleep with you," Chloe replied, stepping closer and speaking in a low voice. "But he's not the only one you've been with, is he? Can you really be certain that the baby you're carrying is his?"

"I heard a woman can get a paternity test while pregnant." Chloe placed a hand on her shoulder. "You'd better hope that this baby is really Daniel's."
