Randall could not have been more proud than watching an extremely confident William Davies stand in front of the gathering at the Chamber of Commerce dinner. The audience was seeded with prominent business and civic leaders who owed much of their success and stature in the community to the Party. Most had curried favor directly from Randall Davies and thus owed his son their total allegiance.
