Faye spent most of the night lying in bed watching the minutes on the clock tick by, one by one. Her vigil ended when the alarm went off at six. Even though she had not slept much, she jumped out of bed and got dressed, energized by the exciting prospects of the day ahead.
Heading off to work, Faye couldn’t help projecting out how her professional life would change when David Harris delivered the child porn cases.
