CHAPTER 14
Jack headed off to work excited about the day. With two huge new contacts in tow, the morning briefing would be uplifting for everyone. There would be new assignments for staff members, additional hires to contemplate, outside resources to alert, press releases to write, and most importantly, that special vibrancy that comes from competitive business. He had the instant excitement of being chosen over his competitors and savoring the spoils of victory. He couldn’t help thinking this process was just like being asked to go to the Sadie Hawkins dance by the most popular girl in school.
When he got to his office, Jack sat down to outline his thoughts from the meeting at Consolidated. They had covered some contract concerns for the firm’s attorneys and an initial project overview
