Chapter 5;Sunler’s Hidden Feeling.

Sunler and Lizer soon arrived at the scene. They had heard the blast. Ferd's car came into view. Ferd was not in the car. Their gaze was moved to the blasted building. There was a crowd gathered around two people, one was a woman and the other was Ferd. There were some fire fighters around the building. The police officers had arrived and the place was already declared an accident scene. Note that they had not witnessed how she escaped the blast.

As flames slowly died out the crowd continued to grow. Many people wondered who the person who saved Derl was. He was not a normal human being. They believed he was some super being. The two, Sunler and Lizer, had a hard time getting through the crowd. Most people were taking video recordings and pictures. The view of a man with glowing hair caught Sunler’s eyes and she found herself gleaming with amusement. Soon, Lizer also saw the man. “Derl don’t touch him!” somebody warned. “He might be an alien.” Another one added. Soon the crowd broke into chaos. Others spoke of the goodness of the man as others spoke of the bad.

Somebody bumped in through the crowd and looked at Derl with a lucky expression. Ferd guessed that he might be the boyfriend or husband. Luckily, he wanted this. “Honey, are you okay?” the man asked as he got hold of Derl. He embraced her and asked the same question again. Derl stared at him without answering. All this time Ferd was looking at the man with eyes of distaste. He felt some jealousy of course. But he wondered why when the woman was not related to him in any way.

The police officers were glad to find no victim. The fire extinguishers did their part and left. “Hey woman.” a police officer called out to Derl. “Were you in that building when this happened?” She asked. “Yes!” Derl answered. “We need to go with you. We have to know how the explosion occurred and how you escaped. Would you please?” the woman opened the car.

Derl got in the car all while looking deeply into Ferd’s eyes. This man was in her head last night. He dreamt about him. Maul mentioned him to her too. Ferd walked to his car and decided to finish his ride. The crowd started to pull out one after the other. All this time Sunler and Lizer were watching them.

Sunler and Lizer had decided to wait near his car. Ferd was still figuring out how to turn his hair back to normal when somebody called out his name. “Where have you been, Ferd?” it was the worried Sunler. They were lucky to find him, ”I am grateful for your concern about me but I am okay.” Ferd said, pretending to be satisfied with their concern. He had known that they would stalk him.

“Will you explain your glowing hair and eyes, man?” Lizer asked. “I am figuring it out. I don't know what is happening inside me yet. But I hope it's harmless. I will be okay.” Ferd sighed. “How did the toppers score anyway?” He asked. “You said you'll be back soon. We are miles away from the stadium!” Sunler said, slightly disappointed, “To add on that your hair and iris glowing is not a normal thing. We need to know what is going on.”

“Can we go to the hospital then?” asked Lizer. “I won’t go with you now. I have something to sort out first.” Ferd said and begged to be gone. “What are you going to sort out?” Sunler asked. He felt that something or rather somebody was taking this man from her. Although they weren’t having a love affair, Sunler had a hidden feeling towards Ferd. On the other hand, Ferd had no intention of engaging with a woman.

Ferd always saw love and care in Sunler’s eyes but he never gave in to it. He knew she would be hurt to realise that he had no intention to be in love with anyone.They were together for a long time. It would hurt her. But something inside Ferd convinced him to go for the one ‘Derl’. He had felt this after saving her from the blast but he ignored it.

“Nothing big Sun, I’ll be back in time. I’ll call you when I’m coming back.” Ferd said and was gone. He just wanted to be away from the annoying pleads.
