Chapter Two; Game at Devon. “Hello, can we attend the sovereign game at Devon?” Sunler asked on the phone. “Of course.” answered Ferd. He was still in last night's hangover. The woover beside him made some nice noise. A song by Rowscay, “LIFE.” His hair was still wet from the warm shower he just had. He almost forgot that there was a game of the toppers being played at Devon. He felt different today. Instinct told him that something was about to happen. What he didn’t understand was unknown and why he felt that way. He put down the cell phone and put on a cardigan. The day was pretty cold. “I need a ride.” He said after walking out of the house. His car auto-rode to where he stood and he boarded. “Devon stadium.” He commanded and away he was ridden. His phone rang and he picked it up. “Hello Ferd?” Sunler again, “Is Lizer coming to spectate?” She asked. “ Yeah, he never misses.” Ferd answered, “Pass by him, then.” Sunler suggested. “I’ll do it, but some hot snack will do.” complained Ferd,“Will you, for the annoying cold?” “I’ll have that covered.” “Good, I’ll be grateful.” thanked Ferd as Sunler hung up. “Stop” he commanded the car. “We have to pick Lizer.” There was a hologram In Front of Ferd that displayed a map. Different locations were visible with Lizer’s location highlighted. He then ordered the car to pass by Lizer as he listened to the cool music sung by Rowscay. I know well am home but you wait on me And you need a friend you just call on me am missing the day but not without pay the lay is a fall so don’t stand on it on great songs among beasts I am wildest the verdict of drinks but not yet enough know that its money on money get what you need don’t threaten to stop it, never shake. Life Life is not a straight line, so why lie . It was all about and of life. Of course Ferd was enjoying it but there was something which started pulling his senses from the song. Something started brewing in his mind. A part convinced him that he was not of this world and that his ‘people’ needed him. He remembered the previous night. The nightmare seemed to communicate one thing. That he was needed somewhere but the people never identified themselves to him! He woke up with no single memory of their facial appearance. They seemed so real that he could wake up feeling the fingerprints of the creatures still itching on his skin. Slowly his thoughts drove him away from reality. Ferd appeared in another world ,the ground was filled with scattered bones and flesh from a fierce war. Several heads with blue glowing hair spread across. Although they looked lifeless, the eyes in these heads seemed to stare at him sympathetically. He then saw a figure further away from where he was standing. It was blurry due to the smoke all over. He moved towards the figure in front of him. With every step he took towards him he felt sour and in great guilt, but that didn't stop him. The figure was a man who had part of his hair glowing blue. Ferd looked at the figure's frightening eyes which made him remember that he had never been shaken this way before. “You're the only one who can save us”. The pale man said and collapsed. Ferd's heart skipped a beat. “Lizer is waiting to board.” His senses were brought back by his car’s information. After sensing the absentmindedness of Ferd the car decided to inform the arrival of Lizer. “Ooh! Raw Sorry,” he exclaimed. Raw was his Car’s name. Lizer was standing beside it. He seemed to be concerned about Ferd's state. “Hey man, are you good?” Lizer greeted Ferd. “Yeah.. I'm good, we need to keep going.” answered Ferd. “Are you okay?” asked the uncertain Lizer again, “You might find yourself driving into another vehicle.” He was unaware of the autodrive of the car which kept Ferd from driving into other vehicles. “Am well, it’s only a hangover and the unadaptive weather.” He said, trying to convince Lizer. “And the car can drive by itself so no need to worry about an accident.” He said as the car drove off swiftly. Soon they were at Devon stadium. Ferd parked his car. He then took out his phone and called Sunler ``Where are you?” Ferd asked Sunler online. “I’m inside the stadium, in the third row on the left. I’m in white and two empty seats are beside me.” She answered. The crowd at the entrance kept on growing as they struggled to get in. Soon the two got into the stadium. Ferd and Lizer started the search. Lizer was the first to get Sunler’s view. “Hey, there she is.” Lizer pointed at Sunler's direction. Turning towards Ferd, he was shocked at what he saw. His hair and eyes glowed blue. Ferd was focused on a certain person. Lizer looked at the person. He thought the person was so casual and unnoticeable. How could a simple gaze do this? Or was he hallucinating? Lizer turned his gaze back to Ferd. He was so afraid. The fear of the unknown enveloped his grandeur. “Can you see that?” Lizer asked one of the people around but no one saw what he saw. It was unreal to them bt Lizer saw it. “Is something wrong?” Sunler exclaimed on Ferd's phone, “Because I can see your hair glow blue.” There was no response. Ferd's arm dropped from his ear releasing the cellphone. Suddenly, his glowing hair and eyes became more realistic. He started floating in the air and his eyes seemed dull. His consciousness seemed to be leaving his body. One could tell from the way his eyes turned dull and his upright posture crumbled. He looked like a dead person floating in space. Everyone around could see him hoover as if gravity had no effect on him. Sunler was shocked and Lizer remained dazed. What just happened? People started noticing something unusual. “Mummy. Look! Someone is flying!” A little boy exclaimed as she looked into her mother's eyes, pointing in the direction of Ferd. Ferd's body hoovered for almost two entire minutes then fell down with a thud. His hair turned back to normal and his eyes looked alive again. He gasped when he realised that he was back.
