Chapter 1

“Can Justyn come over?” Maddie asked. “That is not smart Maddie. You know how Benji will react. You know how your mom will react.” I stated.

I’m just her babysitter. I’m married. And I’m loyal. Why is she trying so hard to get guys over here when her mom is out of town. I’m gonna be fired. It wouldn’t matter if she did bring them over. I’m gonna be fired either way. She already snuck out. Her friend who I allowed over here snuck her drugs and tried to overdose. I mean why the hell wouldn’t I be fired. I just need to stand my ground. I need to tell her no one can come over. How come I can be bold and brave in my head but not out loud. Damn I hate myself.

Fuck. Maddie texted he’s here. I am married. I’m married to Benji. He’s the love of my life. I will not be included in her s**t. I’ll just text him and tell him. No. Don’t. He might leave again. I can’t lose him. I need him. I’m pregnant with his baby. I can’t do it without him. I can’t do life without him. Ok,ok. Let me talk to Maddie.

“Hey Madds.” I said. Maddie responded back with, “ I know you don’t want people over here. But he won’t bother you. He’s just gonna be in here with me.” “I don’t care Maddie. You know what will happen if my husband or your mom found out.” I tried to get her to stop arguing and send him home. But clearly it didn’t work.

Guess who just f*****g texted me. Oh gosh. I’m so dead.

“Have you been leaving the kids at home alone?” Maddie’s mom asked. I answered back immediately. “No ma’am. I am always here.”

I always leave. I leave at night and go back home to my husband. s**t. I’m gonna be caught. “Someone’s mom just messaged me and said you car wasn’t there for a couple hours this morning.” Maddie’s mom slowly texted back. I need a lie. What is a good lie to use. “My husband took my car to get the oil changed. She could have came and knocked on the door and seen I was there.” I responded back. Okay. Maybe she’s done questioning me? Hopefully. I hate it. “Did a friend spend the night last night?” Maddie’s mom texted me. F U C K. Maddie’s friends weren’t supposed to be comming over and Ive been letting them.

As I’m trying to text her back, Maddie comes sprinting in the kitchen saying and screaming Mom knows everything. How much worse can this weekend get. Great. Now I’ve got to tell her everything that went on this weekend. s**t.

“Yes ma’am. That’s completely my fault. I was going to tell you everything that happened this weekend when you got back so it wasn’t ruining your trip. So this whole weekend has just been horrible for everyone. I went and got bailey and let her hang out with maddie. And when she got home she got in trouble. She called maddie saying she was going to take some pills and I was freaking out and texted her not to. Then proceeded to attempt to cheer her up. Then Jocelyn came over. I never left them what so ever. They snuck out and say they went walking around. I don’t know what they really did. The stuff being said about be supposedly leaving I don’t understand because anywhere and everywhere I have went Trevor and maddie have went with me. Also, I did find a condom outside and told maddie and bailey. They said it was just someone playing a prank so I didn’t question it anymore. I also texted baileys mom and tried to be explanatory and help her sort through what was lies and what was the truth. Someone was just supposed to be dropping off clothes they had of maddie’s. I told maddie that was not smart. With everything going on. And that she didn’t need to and she was already almost there. She got there gave maddie the clothes and then was supposed to leave right after. But she told me her mom couldn’t come get her. I was going to take her home so there was no problems whatsoever but I realized I was bleeding and was panicking. And called you and went straight to the e.r. I know last night problem with me was no excuse for disrespecting you. And what you told me. I do apologize.” I read Maddie what I texted her mom. And pressed send.
