Nolan’s careful planning was something I couldn’t criticize when I saw how beautifully the party was going.
I was dressed in my baby-blue dress with the slit, my hair done up carefully and my makeup perfect. As I walked into the party, I received immediate attention, which I hadn’t really expected.
People turned and looked at me — some stared in shock, others immediately turned to gossip with the people standing near them. I could hear the whispers as people looked at me and even managed to catch a few words.
“She looks incredible,” one person said.
“Much better than I’ve ever seen her,” another answered.
