Maya

Waking up to the sound of my phone alarm, looking around and wondering where I am and feeling some weight on me. Finally fully awake, I remembered I'm in Tom's condo and the weight it's his arms wrapped around me. Enjoying the moment before I woke up, I remembered we cuddled to sleep, and he was true to his word of being a gentleman even with me sleeping in my seductive sleepwear, but still we just cuddled not even a kiss. I was disappointed, though I wanted to feel his lips on me.

He groaned in a crocky voice. " Baby, your alarm went off."

I turned to face him "mmmmm I'm still enjoying this moment. Why are you awake?"

" I have always been an early bird. You need to go before you get late. We will have more moments like this,"

" Yeah, tomorrow? I have no schedule, and usually, my p.a do the cleaning schedule unless I'm needed. "

" Were you planning not to come back tonight? " he said with his eyes still closed

" What do you mean, you don't want me to come back?" I said with a shocked voice

" Trust me, I can even ask you to move in even if I'm not around, just knowing you are sleeping in bed. You just asked if tomorrow we could have a moment like this as if you are not coming back. "

" Ooooooh," I giggled. " Let me wake up, I will see around 8"

I woke up, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and wore tracksuits set with trainers and a baseball hat. Taking my phone, he was back to sleep. Took everything quietly and left.

Arriving at the venue I could smell the food , walking to the reception area everything was perfect only the flowers , cake will arrive at 8a.m and Debra will be here to see to that, as I'm heading out at 8a.m she arrives to take over. Walked to the buffet stations everything it's well set god I have an amazing team, checked the church for the ceremony and all good the flowers for church arrived yesterday night. So all it's good is, now let's see how the food looks like cause it sure smells good, walking to the kitchen everyone is busy.

" Looking good, guys. Is everything in order?"

" Yes, chef,"

" And everything will out in time?"

" Yes, chef,"

" Great. expect bonuses. " we laughed just then,Debra came in wearing a baby blue trouser suit with gold loafers. We normally match in colors when we have events. Designs might be different, but colors are always the same, even with the same story.

" You are early," I said, smiling

" Morning Maya, yes, I wanted you to leave earlier and not get ready rushing,"

Touching my heart, " Aaah, what will I do without you?" we hugged

" So I can leave," she nodded. " Great, we are calls duty. If it's a network, it's bad that we are on a handheld transceiver depending on distance range, hopefully."

We both saluted. That was our thing on big events like this, when one was there and the other was over there.

Stretching in bed, it was around 7a.m. I went to get coffee that I know how to make, thinking of I need to order breakfast now. My thoughts went to last night. Waking up with her in my arms damn I'm whipped, I even went as far as saying to her about moving in, what is happening to me. When she left, she thought I was asleep but was watching her in those sports wear. I felt blessed, and it took everything in me not to make a move on her. I mean, even a kiss, nothing. I wasn't in a hurry with this girl. You know what? I loved this woman and will do anything not to mess it up.

Then Selene and the lie I kept will be the reason I messed this up. I need to come clean when and how I don't know. Now breakfast, what to eat.. I had a knock on the door, opening it there she was earlier than I thought, holding a paper bag.

" I come bearing gifts, breakfast,"she said, showing me the bag, we hugged and kissed her on her forehead

" You are earlier than I expected you, hope nothing is wrong," I said, taking my breakfast from her

" Debra, my p.a. arrived earlier. She wanted me to prepare without rushing. so I'm going to shower now. Enjoy your breakfast, " she said, heading upstairs, and I thanked her. My breakfast was pancakes, bacon, and eggs, my favorite. How did she know ooh she once FaceTime me eating my breakfast and saw what I was eating. Opening the refrigerator, there was some juice took it. I decided to eat while watching news on TV. A few minutes later, I heard a click of heels coming down the stairs. Turning my head with my mouth open at the side I'm seeing. She was wearing a long baby blue bodycon dress that touched the floor, with a side slit that opened until the top of her thighs you could almost see her underwear, the top it was a off shoulder long sleeve design,tide her hair in a tidy bun no makeup just a powder yet still beautiful, stiletto gold sandals with matching bag.

" You done with your breakfast?" I just hummed cause I was speechless

" Tom Tom," she clicked her fingers in my face

" Maya why can't I come with you to the wedding, there are many vultures out there and with you in that dress I won't think probably here alone knowing some men are stirring at you" She giggled coming to me and hugged

" Baby, they can watch, but they can't touch cause I belong to this bad boy right here." her phone disturbed us, and she answered

" Debra, everything okay?"

" The cake, it's late," Debra said, panicking

She looked at the time, it was 9:30. She took a deep breath

" Let me call them." She hanged up, irritated and calling someone

" Shane what the f**k the cake was suppose to be at the venue at 8 sharp, please don't mess up my event, everything it's all set it's just you the most important thing of the wedding not there. what the hell?" I listened impressed how firm she spoke with the other person

" Maya relax. I'm at the venue just parking the van,"

" Why are you late?" she asked, sounding relieved

" Had to go back for the cake stand I forgot,"

" Hope you are there otherwise," she hanged up, made another call

" Debra, he is outside. mmmmh, you see him cool, I almost had a heart attack. Yeah, I'm leaving now, " she hanged up, turning to me

" Love, I have to go." she turned to leave

" Wait, your keys." Handing her the keys, she looked at them with a questionable look

" Don't want you to keep knocking, and you keep them with your keys from now on."

" Oooooohkay, I will chat about it later. I have to go." she took the key and left. Was I moving too fast by giving her the key and why talk about it later. Anyways what the f**k I will do with myself today.
