Chapter 5. Maya

Feeling cold Maya woke shivering, she was in her panties only. " How did I even got to my bed, let alone who undressed me" she got out of bed, decided to put on lounge wear tracksuit set and putting on socks. Left her room to look for Lisa and opened the guest room where she usually uses it when she sleeps over if they didn't share the same bed. She saw the bed still made and no sign of anyone lying on it. She headed to the kitchen only to see Lisa asleep on the couch.

" Why are you sleeping on the couch when you have a bed here" Maya said waking her up

Lisa groaned trying to open her eyes " god I have a terrible headache "

"Tell me about it. why are you on the couch again?" Getting off the couch and still in her last night clothes she followed Maya to the kitchen

" You passed out in Jason's car, and I put you in bed after undressing you. so had to lock the door after Jason left so I guess the bedroom was far from me, I must have passed out on the couch " Lisa said trying to hide the devious smile she had, thinking she just came back from Jason's apartment like an hour ago and decided just to lay on the couch and must have doozed off on the couch.

" So you are the one who undressed me and left me in panties on a winter like this"

" Babe I was also f****d up, and just wanted to see myself on the bed also even though I ended up on the couch "

Handing Lisa a cup of black coffee " You could just left me in my clothes, I woke up freezing "

" Sorry girl, what's for breakfast"? Asked Lisa checking her phone for messages

" I'm too hanged over for making breakfast, let me check with Jason if he made anything for breakfast "

" No, let's just go out besides I need to go to my house " Lisa said in a rush thinking she left without waking Jason up because she didn't not want to have that conversation.

" Okay don't bite my head off, but I thought this is our weekend so why you going to your place "

Lisa showed her the phone " See I'm needed today at the hospital if I finish early will come back"

" So I'm guessing we are doing breakfast outside, do you need to change last night clothes? I'm cool with my lounge wear will just grab my jacket and put on boots"

They had spare clothes at each other home, clothes for all seasons. Lisa went to change into a tracksuits set and sneakers with a jacket also.

" Let's go" Lisa said grabbing her purse and phone

" Let's pass by Jason's apartment and check on him"

" Maya I'm dying of hang over hunger here, and Jason it's a big boy who doesn't need to be checked on" Lisa was so annoyed, she gets like that if she is hungry

Surrending with her hands up " Jessss I forget how you get when you are hungry "

They left in silence went for breakfast after went their separate ways. Maya decided to check Jason when she came back, knocking on his door he opened the door wearing black hoodie and black sweat pants. Opened the door wider as a sign for invitation to come in.

" Nah sweets just checking if you are still alive "

" All good babe, where is your better half "

" She left, had an emergency at work. See you later I need to rest, hang over still killing me"

He just hummed and closed his door. Maya went to her apartment, thinking since last night she hasn't checked her phone. Opening her w******p message

From Tom: Hey stranger. long time good to hear from you. how you been?

From Leo: Hey beautiful long time. So good to hear from you. how is everything?

Thinking who to reply first. ' Hey stranger ' but this guy we never spoke now he is greeting as if we were friends. She was in the kitchen busy with other cup of coffee and she headed to her bedroom took a quick shower and changed into warm sleep wear got comfortable in bed and decided to reply.

To Tom: I been good. and how is you and everything?

To Leo: Beautiful ??? was I beautiful? Everything it's good here and you that side everything good?

She got busy on her phone replying to clients and Opening her laptop to do some little work. Her phone beeped with message alerts

From Tom: Well everything all good. I'm sure you are married now with kids.

Laughing by herself. ' Dude are we already there you and I, I mean Leo yes can ask me those questions but you? fine let me just go with the flow maybe he has memory loss'

To Tom: ????? Do you want me to be married with kids? How about you how is family life?

From Tom: Your question it's kinda tricky, am I allowed to reply honestly

From Tom: I think you and I know I have never been a committing guy. So to answer you I'm still a bachelor

To Tom: yes please answer honestly

To Tom: well people change. second thought maybe not since you are still a bachelor. I'm assuming you are still a ladies man???

From Tom: No I don't want you to be married with kids. so are you?

From Tom: Oooch that hurts. me ladies man?

From Leo: You were beautiful to me. Everything it's good here. so you married now and kids?

Smiling what's with the questions about marriage and kids.

To Tom: Lucky for you I'm not married and no kids

To Tom: Yeah you don't know your reputation???

To Leo: Thanks I never realized I'm beautiful in your eyes. And no kids or husband. I'm sure you are cause you were so different from your cousin Thomas.

From Leo: You were beautiful to everyone. Well I'm divorced with 2 kids. Well Tom will always be Tom?

From Tom: I'm happy to hear that.

From Tom: Well like you said people change. I haven't met the one if that exists..

Okay why is he happy that I'm not married and not kids. And why do I have the edge to answer Tom first.

To Tom: Well I guess the right one is still out there for you. and yes that does exist.

To Leo: Sorry to hear about your divorce. At least you were blessed from that marriage.

I literally stopped working and closed my laptop because of the message exchanges with the Donald brother's, and my coffee even got cold. Getting out of bed to go warm it up with my phone in my hand. Another messages came through

From Lisa: Hey girl won't make it back. xoxo

From Tom: Well if you say so will cross my fingers. What are you up to?

From Leo: It's cool. That's life.

Done with my coffee grabbed a bag of chips and went to my bedroom. Looks like I'm spending the day indoors and in bed, it was in the afternoon already. I'm guessing I need to decide what's for dinner let me check if Jason is around.

To Jason: Hey sweets are you around

From Jason: No babes out for the whole 2 days. What's wrong?

What, where could he be..

To Jason: Nothing sweets just checking if my dinner partner it's around

From Jason: Sorry ?

To Lisa: ? Okay girl. enjoy work talk later xoxo
