“I love you too, David,” she said smiling.
He looked directly into her eyes. “Mora, Jaden has a way for me to leave town. Things are getting too crazy in town. I will be leaving soon, and I want you to go with me.”
“Yes, I will go with you,” she said quickly.
He kissed her with much enthusiasm, “we should go to my family’s cabin by the lake.”
She tilted her head to the side then giggled, “all right.”
David pulled out his car keys and opened the doors. They get in, and he drove off into the direction of the cabin. The stillness of the night calmed the animals buzzing about. Mora glanced out the window to see the lights of the animals’ eyes watching them as they drive off.
