Chapter FourThe moon became visible over the clouds. Strange noises echo outside with the wind blowing hard and wild against the window. David exhaled displeasingly watching the scape of nature relaxed. He drove feeling the world about to end him for eternity. The banshee’s voice continued to haunt him. He jerked every so often seeing the white eyes staring back at him. He pulled up into the driveway. David turned off the lights and parked the car. He glanced at the light in his mother’s bedroom still on. He sighed and looked down at the mark resting on his hand. He turned back on the lights and pulled out of the driveway. The loneliness of the road comforts David as the growing trees behind him fade to the background. He pulled into Butter Beaks Hotel. The vintage sign and flashing lights
