“Olivia, what are you doing here with a suitcase?” My mum got up from the couch as soon as she saw me walk into the house.
I let out a deep breath before responding.
“Alex and I finalized the divorce a few minutes back, so I left the house.” My causal response seemed to infuriate her further.
“Olivia!” She exclaimed, putting her hands over her head.
