I stared at the man who is looking at me menacingly. His eyebrow almost met as he gritted his teeth. Lazarus' eyes narrowed and trying to conceal his anger. This is unbelievable! This man's acting skills are so good! He can even kill me by using only his eyes! I looked at the ladies who are bowing their heads and playing their hands. They're shutting their eyes and shaking their head like I was doing the wrong thing! Even the place looks convincing! "Woah," I said in disbelief. "You are all good at acting! Which entertainment all of you came from?" They almost got me there! My heart skipped for a moment because of their silence and act! "Get out," I growled to the man in front of me. His forehead knotted. "What did you say?" He asked; it sounded like challenging me. "I said, get out," I grunted. "Princess Genevierre!" The ladies gasped in chorus, horrified. I almost vomit in disgrace when someone called me in my full name. Plus the Princess! For how long will they keep this up? My eyes cannot help but roll in irritation. I glared at the guy in front of me—giving him the same intense amount of anger as the way he looks at me too. The guy's expression changed—from anger to confusion. I guess he is scared now. This man thinks he can fool me just like that! Ha! Who will even fall for this kind of trap? Princess? And a looking prince? Husband? "Are you deaf? Get lost," I ordered him. Slowly and hard. So he can process it well. I was about to pass him, but I was baffled when he grabbed my arm. He hardly pulls me into him—making me wince in pain. My eyes widened, and gawk at the man who is glaring at me while gritting his teeth. "Prince Lazarus!" The ladies called him in chorus. "Please, forgive the Princess! She comes from a deep sleep, for her mind is not well!" They plea. I giggled in disbelief. I can feel anger stirring on me as this drama holds long. How long did they practice their lines? "And now, you're laughing?" The 'Prince Lazarus' barked at me. Feeling the pain the way this Prince hold my arm, I tried to pull it. But he is so much stronger than me! My mouth hangs open and stared at him in disbelief. Lazarus just stared at me darkly. As I try to get my arm, the harder his hold is in my arm! My face wrinkled because of discomfort. "Hey! Did Farrah told you to hurt me too!?" I squealed in front of him. Farrah, the two-face bitxch! He even paid someone to hurt me! Is this not a waste of money?! "Let me go!" I roared at him and pulling my arm. It felt sorer as I tried to pull it aggressively. "Who are you?" The man is gritting his teeth in anger while asking the question. Did this Prince forget that this is acting? He's already hurting me! I swear to sue Farrah the moment I have the money! "Who are me? I am Genevierre! Who are you?!" I shouted on his face. He is hurting me so bad! "And why are you hurting me?! Let me go! Help! Help!" I looked on the ladies—but they looked away on me. They don't want to help! Like—hello! The actor in front had violated me! "You don't know who am I?" He sounds suspicious. I laughed at him. "Are you suppose to be a well-known person?" "I am going to be your husband," he began. My forehead knotted, and I stopped myself from pulling my arm. "Are you out of your mind? Can you please stop?" "I am Prince Lazarus," he announces as if that will ring a bell. I snorted and rolled my eyes. "Am I supposed to gasp in surprise or bow my head too?" The man calling himself 'Prince Lazarus' mouth fell open in awe. I felt his grip on my arm started to lose—that's where I pulled my arm back. The ladies still stick to their script. They are crying in disbelief because of my actions. They are wailing for me to stop. "Don't you even dare touch me again..." I threatened him with my narrowed eyes. "Princess!" They all grimace. Lazarus let me out of the room. I thought it was all done—until I saw a grand hallway after. My mouth opened in surprise as I tilt my head upward to the golden-colored ceiling. The ceiling is too high to reach and looks impossible. The room where I woke up had a high ceiling—but this one is unbelievable! It has paintings on it too! The thick gold seraphine lines are all over the edge, making the ceiling more elegant and vicious! Who the hell painted up there?! That high?! My heart skipped for the crazy grandeur place. Where am I? I roam my eyes around. I am currently standing on a floor made with colored-cream marble. My eyes saw the grand staircase that has a red velvet carpet on the other wing of the floor. And the last... The massive crystal chandelier is in the center. It was sparkling, it looked like a cloud of crystals. Like a rain of crystals that are placed in one—a dense group of crystals! I think I can pay my debt with that one. Is this even real? Am I dreaming? Is this heaven already?! "Princess!" I ran towards the edge of the floor. Even the riles are made of a thick, fancy marble. I stood upon the railings—trying to reach one of them... I heard a group of gasped before someone pulling me hard out to the crystals... I don't know if it's fake or not. But if I manage to get lucky, I can pay all my debt. If I manage to get two, I can start a new life! This might be a prank, but I just need to get a crystal. Just one. Why does everything look royal and fancy? Am I a princess now? "What are you doing, Genevierre?!" Lazarus' voice thundered after he pulled me. His face darkened even more as he gritted his teeth in anger. "Huh?" I asked, confused. "Do you want to die again?!" Lazarus insulted me. This guy had nothing to do but glare and be rude at me! Nice act! The role fits very well for his face! "I don't want to die! I didn't want to die in the first place!" I roared back. "And stop touching me!" I spank his hands to let go of my arm! Lazarus' eyebrow almost met and if possible, his nose can blow a cloud of smoke because of anger! Lazarus' neck was already red, he is biting his lips so hard—like trying to suppress his madness. "Gene—" "I just wanted this!" I confront him and pointed to the massive chandelier. I thought I can reach it. "Don't be so mad! Geez," I rolled my eyes. The gap between the floor and chandelier is quite... far. My mind thought they are close enough. Lazarus forehead knotted. "You have that in your room." My eyes widened. "My room?" I laughed in annoyance. I thought we are all done acting here! "Stop the act," I ordered him and waved my hand. "Just give me some of these crystals so I can forgive you for hurting me," I try to give him an offer. Lazarus head tilt. He scanned me from head to toe—his eyes lock in my chest for a second before meeting my eyes again. "Are you playing, Genevierre?" Lazarus guessed. "Stop fooling around." I rolled my eyes then again, looked at the crystals. My eyes unconsciously looked down and I was... scared when I saw how far is the ground to this floor. Even the floor had art on it! Random heaven and angels are painted on the floor down! What is this place? Is this a museum? A castle? How much Farrah rented Palace just to make fun of me? "Prince Lazarus!" The lady who is holding me earlier tried to pull me out from the guy. "Hey, stop touching me..." I glared at the lady—but she didn't stop pulling me carefully out of Lazarus hands' "We are sorry for being mindless, Prince. We didn't know that her long sleep will affect how the way she thinks!" The lady grief. A cold gaze was drawn to us. "Make sure to fix her. I cannot accept a wife who is acting foolish and sick." Excuse me?! Is he referring to me?! Foolish and sick?! Fix me? Do I look like a broken item? The ladies started to get hold of me—Looks like, they wanted to drag me. But they don't want to hold me. Like I was a fire that cannot get hold off. "Princess, let's go back to your room..." The lady gulped. I glared at her. "I wanted to go home! Let go!" I whimpered. "Hey, you!" I shouted in annoyance to the guy who is walking away. "You!" The lady cried in horror again. I looked at her. "Princess... You shouldn't call Prince Lazarus... Just 'you," she howled. I bit my lip in anger and pull my arms out. I don't have any time for this. I looked at the crystals—I will be back, but for now... I need to get out of this crazy place. I run. "Princess!" "Princess Genevierre!" I run as fast as I could. The ladies shrieked in chorus and runs after me. I just wanted to go home! I am starting to feel a little scared because they are holding on to their acting! Damn, this floor is huge! I can barely see the end! Before my eyes, Lazarus, the annoying guy just pop out in front of me. I was baffled for that moment. What?! How did he get there?! Before I even stopped myself from running, I crashed into Lazarus' cold chest and my face was smacked into it. He catches me by wrapping his arms around my waist. My face wrinkled as I lift my face to meet his eyes. I touch my nose because it's aching. Is he made of steel? "What are you doing now, Genevierre?!" Lazarus roared, eyebrows have met in anger. He is so cold as ice! I push him hard. Why is this guy is freezing? "I just wanted to go home! Let go of me!" I push his hard chest. His jaw tightened as Lazarus' eyes narrowed. "Why do you want to go home? You wanted this palace, Genevierre!" What is this punk saying? This palace? Is this even real? "Stop shouting at me! Why are you being so rude?" I sneered. "I don't even know you..." He looked taken aback. I rolled my eyes and take that opportunity to walk away. I passed on him. What an i***t. I just walked in annoyance until I reached the grand staircase. I thought after seeing the stairs would finally tell me that this prank is over. But my forehead knotted when I saw a huge lobby ahead of me. It made me more confused. And the stairs... it will take me forever to go down on these stairs. I can see from here the entrance of this strange place. Who wouldn't even notice it? It's huge and fancy! Even a giraffe with a long neck can enter without bending— actually, the giraffe would look so small with this massive place! My mouth hangs open as I mindlessly go downstairs. There is nothing much to see. The lobby... was too big. It was made of marble too. I looked up and saw how the crystals look crying down here. The crystals were shining so bright because they are hanging in a ceiling that is glass-made. What... Where am I? As I reach down the floor, I started to feel more little because it was huge! There is a huge doorway that leading to another place in every corner. I run towards the door—and then I was more surprised by what I see. It is... a veranda. That door... Is not even an entrance. But it was just a door for a veranda. The wind kissed my cheek. The sun greeted me with his warmth. I am in a skyscraper where I can see everything. A large wall made with bricks is surrounding this place. Pointed roofs, a horse... People who are wearing a thick set of dresses to cover up themselves... Someone is even pulling a wheelbarrow! Who uses that now in twenty-twenty one? I looked back. I step backward and tried to fit the huge building in my view. I tried to see where I am right now and surprise when I notice that... The huge place where I came from earlier, is not even half of the grand, massive castle. I lean to the riles of the veranda to look more over it. I step up to have a view—but when I looked down... a hill surprised me in shock. My body will be dislocated if I fall here. I can even lose a leg! It made me lose my balance because of that thought! I screamed and closed my eyes. I don't want to die painfully! "Genevierre!" A guy raged. I felt a cold thing all around. Am I not dead yet? "Genevierre!" He hissed. I immediately opened my eyes—and Lazarus' angry face confronted me. Lazarus' arms are all around me again. "Why are you so desperate to die?!" I feel offended. This guy saved my life! But his... tongue get to my nerve! I push his hard chest and glared. "I am not trying to die! Excuse me?! How can I die this way?! Can you see how sharp the rock down there?!" I fought him back. "And stop asking me about dying! It's reminding me how pathetic I am!" His mouth hangs open. "Then why did I caught you jumping here—" "I am not jumping! I am just leaning on it! I am looking at... this huge place." "What?" He said, confuse. "Stop playing around and let's go back..." "What—" Before my mouth opened, I felt a strong wind wrapped in my body making me close my eyes. Damn, now a wind storm?! How an awful day! I opened my eyes when it felt calm in a blink. Then... I saw myself standing in front of a huge portrait. My forehead wrinkled in disbelief. In the portrait... that's me! My hair was bun up with loose strands. The only accessory that I am wearing in the head was a crown. I am wearing a lavender dress with flowers on it. The gown was puffy and complicated but it hugged my body perfectly. Making me look more modest and graceful. The choker necklace with a sapphire as a pendant completes the whole look. I am just wearing white gloves. My face here doesn't have an expression. It's cold and sad. But beautiful. "Did you forgot who you are?" Lazarus started to talk. "I am sure this will help you to remember, Princess."
