Emery makes his way straight towards home.
She looked panicked and tensed. Her mind was giving her warning signals. Something very terrible was ahead, waiting for her.
She slammed the door open as she reached home.
Mrs Richard was already standing there waiting for her.
"Mom! There is very critical news". Emery said her voice was breaking as she couldn't breathe.
"Yes, I have heard of it. The boy is out of prison". Mrs. Richard said. Her stomach contracted into a tight ball.
"But how is it possible he was sentenced to ten years in jail? " How can he come out so early?" Emery's heart skipped a beat, a palpable pause reverberating through her chest.
