Olivia's POV: A Challenger

2560 Words
f**k!!! This man was f*****g the s**t outta of me. Damien and I have been something like friends with benefits for awhile… eh, something less than friends actually. How bout I call us s*x buddies. Yeah that sounds better. So, yeah, we've been s*x buddies for a minute and never has he f****d me so good. Don't get me wrong, he's always great. But he damn near f****d me into a coma. I just kept cumming and he just kept f*****g me. I thought I was gonna blackout when he finally came hard, filling up my core. Sleep was calling my name but I had somewhere to be. Lucky, Damien left and went to his room. He usually wants to cuddle and s**t but I hate that part. f**k me and let me leave. I was about to get up and shower when my phone rang. I looked at my phone and rolled my eyes. Sarah called me. What the f**k did she want? Phone call: Sarah: “Hey Liv, you got a moment?” Olivia: “Not really, but go ahead.” Sarah: “I won't be at the ball tomorrow, can you believe that?” At first I wasn't interested in talking to her, but now I'm all ears. I had some business to attend to concerning Damien, which was the only reason we're together in any way at all. But, I've always wanted Raphael and this b***h had him. So to hear she wasn't going, excited me. Let me feign sadness. Olivia: “Oh no. I can't believe it. What happened?” I smiled and chuckled to myself. Sarah: “Some b***h is tryna move in on Raphael and he's taking her tomorrow.” My brows knitted closer together after hearing her words. There's another b***h I gotta deal with? Olivia: “Who's he taking? Would I know her?” Sarah: “ No. You would be caught dead knowing this woman. She's fat and poor!” Olivia: “ What… the f**k?” Sarah: “ Yeah I know. He wants to take her and he's gonna buy her all this stuff and splurge on her like he usually does me and she's gonna think he really wants her or something, when in actuality, he's just being nice. He wouldn't stop being with me for that garbage.” I was too stunned to speak. I was going with someone else. Who was it? He'll go with everyone but me. That thought alone was pissing me off. Sarah: “But it's ok. I have a plan. I told Lauren to ruin her dress tomorrow when she picks it out. She's not good in high societal situations, so she'll just give up and not go. Maybe then he'll take me.” Olivia: “ What if she still comes?” Sarah: “ Well that's why I'm calling you. If she still decides to go, I want you to make her wish she didn't. Let her know she doesn't belong in places like that and to remind her of her place, which will always be beneath us.” I raised an eyebrow at her words. Olivia: “ What has she done to you that you hate her like this?” Sarah: “ She thinks she's better than somebody. But she's gonna learn she'll never be better than me. Olivia: “What's her name?” Sarah: “Divinity.” Olivia: “Got it. Alright I gotta go. I'll let you know what happens.” Sarah: “Ok. Thanks, Liv. Have fun tomorrow.” End of phone conversation. I sat at the edge of the bed for a while. My blood was boiling at the fact that, yet again, Raphael would rather be with someone else other than me. Like, what the f**k is so wrong with me that he'd rather be with a person lower than him and fatter. I stewed over my thoughts for a bit till I received another call from someone I didn't want to speak to. Fuck. Phone call: Olivia: “What is it?” Unknown: “You need to monitor how you speak to me.” Olivia: “Gasp!! Do I now? What do you want? And hurry, I'm still at Damien's place.” Unknown: “Heh. Someone needs to teach you how to use that mouth of yours correctly, it seems.” Olivia: “And you're the one to do it?” Unknown: “Care to find out?” Olivia: “Not really. What do you want?” Unknown: “Spicey, spicey little bunny. You will bring yourself before me tomorrow. You know where to find me. Bring the information you've gathered. I expect you to be here by 6pm tomorrow, got it?” Olivia: “Yeah, got it.” Just as I was about to hang up, he continued to speak. Unknown: “Oh, before I forget. Don't forget who I am. I may be lax with you, but that doesn't mean I still won't end you like I've done plenty others. How you'll go will be purely up to you but if you want mercy, that is up to ONLY me. Understand?” Olivia: “Ye-yes. My apologies.” Unknown: “Aww, it's quite alright. Your beauty makes it easy to forgive you… for now. Don't push it.” End of conversation. I need to be careful. My anger towards Raphael and this mystery b***h had me almost lose my damn head when speaking with him. I breathed deeply and sighed. I finally got up to shower and leave. I made it out around the same time Damien was making his way to his office. He walked me to the door, I kissed him and was on my way. My driver was waiting for me by the backseat door. I slipped in and sat down. As my driver pulled off, I ran down somethings to him. “Slate, be prepared for a drive Sunday. We gotta go see that crazy man. Also, be sure to remind me of the information I will need for said meeting Sunday. Let's drop by the dress shop tomorrow morning for my dress, and we're picking up Alina to come back here to get ready.” “Of course, Ms.Gensen. Anything else?” “Yeah… look up some woman named Divinity. I think she may have connections to Rahpael, and I want to know what they are.” “Yes, Ms.Gensen.” Good. I'm gonna figure out who exactly this woman is and why Raphael is interested in her. I know him well enough to know he isn't interested in anyone without reason. The next day… “Oh my gosh!! Thank you. You too.” I waved and smiled for the cameras. I was receiving so many compliments ascending the stairs to the building. The Blakfield’s charity event is one of the most infamous events to date. It's a beautiful galla, where some of the most distinguished people attend. I always get the scope of the theme colors. This year, it's lavender, gold, and silver. Of course, my dress would be a beautiful lavender color. I drew inspiration from Greek statues that adorn the Blakfield Building. I didn't want to just be a guest, but an accessory, a piece of art to the ball as well. As I descended the steps inside the building, everyone gazed up to me. In the many eyes I saw, there was envy and hate, a beautiful concoction that I simply live off of. I walked amongst everyone like royalty. Damien excused himself to wherever. I honestly didn't care because I loved the attention I received from the many men around me. Every year, I end up somewhere with some other guy f*****g my brains out. Damien knows this as well but he doesn't mind, he just wants to have the best. He couldn't wish for better. … Who's that? A hush fell over the room, a noticeable decrescendo of voices that was once a typhoon. The eyes that once held me in their gaze now fell upon something else. I followed the line of sight to the staircase that led to the lower level everyone was on. My eyes peered at this being. Her simple yet elegant emerald dress popped as it laid on her deep chocolate skin. Her golden eyes shine more brightly than the gold that was displayed. Her curvaceous body only added to the lure of her. Her face was a work of art as well. Full lips and pretty almond eyes. Once I was able to break away from her, my eyes landed on Raphael. So, this must be Divinity. A tinge of jealousy was felt in my heart. It was as though my breath was being restricted. I've never felt this emotion before. I simply never had anyone that could compare to me. But as my eyes stayed locked on those two as they entered the room, I've never felt more enraged. The lullaby of praises that I once received were now for her. I looked around to see if everyone was focused on her and to my dismay, they were. Every soul wanted to know who that vixen was. I can almost imagine how the talk of the town will be. Once the initial shock wore off, people began to resume conversation. Me and some of the other girls were quick to converse about those two. “Who is that?” “Are those tattoos?” “How does she know Raphael?” “I've never seen anyone like her around?” “I always thought Olivia and Raphael would end up together.” “He must like dark meat.” As I listen to these bitches yammer on about her, I'm boiling trying to keep my composure. That was until I heard what was said next. “Is Damien talking to that woman?” Some person gasped out as I whipped my head around. I saw him place his finger under her chin and lifted her head to look him in the eyes. Her hair fell further down her back, cascading softly over her ass. That's when Raphael steps in front of her. It was like him and Damien were battling to see who's will was stronger. They were fighting over a woman… that wasn't me. I stormed over to them and reached for Damien to pull him back away from her. “Here you are, Damien. I've been looking for you.” I smiled my perfect smile and wrapped an arm around him to keep him grounded. I took a glance at Raphael, pretending to just notice him. “Oh, well, hello Raphy. I just noticed you. You look wonderful. How are you?” “Hello Olivia. Please do not call me that.” His voice sends shivers down my spine every time. He's so beautiful. I love beautiful things and I only want the best. Raphael, he IS the best. I slithered my way between him and Damien. “Aww, you're still like that? Ok, fine Raphael. Are you gonna dance with me later? I don't see you with anyone tonight.” “Do not be rude to my guest. She’s right here.” I slowly turn my gaze to that vixen. She stood there, her eyes drilling to my soul. I almost let out a small gasp but composed myself. “I don't see much.” She must really think she's something special standing here with Raphael. Let me knock her down a few. I stood smiling at her. Raphael and Damien seemed upset, but I'd soothe things over with them later. I was about to say something else when I was interrupted. “It's quite alright. I can't see petty women either. My advice, before you start making comments on people you don't know, make sure it's with a person that can't respectfully disrespect you in such a way that it will still have you thinking about what I said three days from now and could beat your ass without hesitation in a heartbeat.” My mouth dropped. What the f**k? Was she talking to me? Like that? No one has ever had the audacity to speak to me like that. She turned and walked away and all I could do was look at her. When she was no longer in eyesight, I spoke to Raphael. “You really brought… THAT here?” I was seriously getting pissed. “I did. And don't ever address her as “that” again. Watch your mouth.” Raphael took a step closer to me. His menacing gaze sharp, forcing me to take a step back. He left to go after the woman he came with. That's when Damien spoke to me. “Why would you say that about her? You don't even know her?” “I saw the way she was looking at you. Nobody can have you but me.” I've never really cared for Damien. He was second best and an obligation, but I'll be damned if someone else snatches him from me. “When did you start thinking that? You never really mind any other time. And the last time I checked, YOU wanted Raphael.” Well, he's not wrong. I don't want Damien and never will but until I'm done with you, you're not done with me. “Don't be that way.” I put on my best pouty face and leaned my body closer to him, pressing my breast against him. Damien is definitely a boob man. I mean he likes a good ass too, but he prefers breasts for sure. So, I work with what I got. He sighed at me but said nothing else. I was latched to his hip for the time being. We walked around and greeted more people, up until the time of the banquet. Afterwards, there's usually dancing. Damien and I headed to the banquet hall. It was through two huge wooden doors that lead to a huge room. Similar decorations that adorn the gathering room adorned the dining room except in the middle of the room sat a huge semi circle table. It was almost closed but a gap was left open for those who are seated in the inner part of the table. I allowed Damien to escort me to our seats. This year we sat on the left hand side of Mr. Blakfield. Him and his wife sat at the center of the table that faced the door, looking out on everyone. I sat next to Damien who sat next to his parents, who was right next to the Blakfields. I smiled. You have to be really special to sit this close to them. Damien's parents have always been close friends with them, so it's obvious we should sit so close. I beamed and peered out, soaking in my moment. My happy thoughts were interrupted by a certain someone's voice. “Oh, I sit here?” I looked to my right to see Raphael and Divinity standing next to Mrs.Blakfeild. She smiled back at Raphael and he pulled out her chair that was right next to Mrs.Blakfield. How is this even possible??? All eyes were once on her again. I've had it! I kept a smile on my face but was anything but happy. I see how this is gonna end..
