CHAPTER FIFTEEN: CANDIDATE TO BE CROWN PRINCESS

On the large ground, two swords are clashing against each other. The Crown Prince is practicing fighting using a sword on the sword field. Prince Miles, using his best skills until the other sword was thrown away, he straightened up his sword to the face of his opponent who was sword fighting him, meaning that he had won.
[CLAPING HAND👏🏻]
"Your Royal Highness, your skills have improved from time to time, but you seem to be so emotional lately" said Sir Jackson, Prince Mile's personal Attendant or best known as an equerry, after watching the Prince's performance. Suddenly, Prince Mile almost fell to the ground, but Jackson caught him before he fell, "Your Royal Highness, are you okay?? Your Royal Highness." Asked Sir Jackson, worried about Crown Prince Mile's condition. He almost got punished by the King because he didn't take good care of Prince Mile while they were in battle at the northern vampiric border.
"Let's take a break and tell the maid to prepare some snacks, then deliver them to my private pavilion" said Prince Mile to Sir Jackson.
"Sure Your Royal Highness," said Sir Jackson, and bowed to Prince Mile. Sometimes Jackson felt weird about the Prince's behavior after the war at the northern vamperic border a few lunic ago. Prince Mile is seen to be different from his usual self.
A/N: LUNIC IS PREFERENCE FOR A MONTH IN THIS UNIVERSE, SO 1 LUNIC IS PREFERENCE TO ONE MONTH AGO.
Even though he is the current king's eldest son, Prince Mile is a direct descendant from a pure bloodline from a few decades ago in the Vamperor and Vampress era. The era which was the Vampiric dynasty is the most powerful kingdom that has ever existed.
Compared to the second Prince, Prince Mikael or everyone call Prince Mika. He was a gift from a goddess of the moon to have a powor to control a blood moon. But he is far from the pure bloodline, because the current Queen is a commoner from a common vampire family.
And the third prince is Prince Michael, or known as Prince Mike. He is the weirdest out of the two Princesses. Prince Mike rarely talks to anybody even though he and Prince Mike are twins, but they personally are the opposite side from one another.
Prince Miles is the only dark master who ever had the power of a dark soul. Which is that power vanished from the imperial kingdom along with the collapse of vampiric dynasties. Prince Mile's mother is the most powerful dark mistress that ever existed. She is the Princess of the Dark valley, the birthplace where all the dark creatures were firstborn.
After the collapse of the vampiric dynasty and the usurpation of the throne in the northern region by the Dracula clan. The vampire world separates into a split kingdom that we know nowadays.

PRINCE MILE'S POV.
I don't know why I'm being so emotional lately. After the end of the northern border war, I keep having the same dream over and over again.
Everytime I close my eyes, I can hear a soft voice calling my name. I can smell the fragrance of roses, but every time when I open up my eyes, tears run down slowly throw my cheek. Who exactly is he? Where is he? And what happened to him? The person I saw in my dream.

THREE DAYS LATER
"Your highness, your highness!!, Your Royal Highness...!!"
Suddenly, someone's voice woke me up from my daydreaming. I looked in front of my face and saw Jackson's confused face.
"What happened?" I asked Jackson back.
"Something big coming, your royal highness" said Jackson, making the face impression that I hated the most.
I breathed out the oxygen from my lungs through my nose heavily until it made a sound. "Tell me what exactly happened," I asked him nicely while controlling my anger at him for interrupting my sleep. He better tell me something useful unless I will punish him again.
Without any longer explanation, Jackson said the thing I didn't want to care about the most. "His Majesty the King and the Queen, told someone to make a list of candidates to be your wife, Your Royal Highness!!. From the rumors that go around, His Majesty the King will Crown that being as the Crown Princess..."
"WHAT..!!"
HAHAHAH.
I know that this thing will happen sooner or later. I can feel it, but it shocked me because it happened near to my little sister's coming of age debutante ball. Ha!! What a nice idea to kill two birds with one stone",
With less impression. I need to make a move. This is beyond my capability. I need to know the names on the candidates list first then, what I need to do is take fast action.
"Jack.. I have a task for you. Find out the names on that list of the candidates and bring me alongside with their personal details immediately." I said to Jackson.
"As you said, your Royal Highness" said Jackson, bowing to me and walking away.

"Worried about something, older brother!!" Suddenly a small voice sounded near me. I looked around and found my little sister standing not far away from me alongside her maid.
Princess Lillianne Adriana Rose, youngest daughter of the King and Queen of the Imperial Kingdom.
As known as Princess Liliy.
"Greeting to older brother, the Crown Prince" said Liliy, politely curtsying to me.
"[Smile 😊😊] you may stand up, have a sit little sis." I said to my little sister and offer her to sit down.
Without any hesitation, Liliy sat on a chair in front of me and the maid put the bamboo picnic basket on top of the table in front of us.
"What a matter!! Lil sis?" I asked my little sister once she sat down.
"What? Am I not allowed to see my own brother?" Said my sister, frowned as she turned her face and pursed her lips grumpy.
"Okay.. Okay.. I'm sorry, don't be sulking" I said while coaxing her back
"You're not the type that is easily to get grumpy.. What happened to you today?" I said while pinching and wiggling her cheek.
Liliy and I were really close to each other, more than anyone else. She is even closer to me than my twin brothers, Mika and Mike.
"Owww!, brother.. It hurt", Said Liliy, as she brushed my hand away and rubbed her cheek that was hurt from my pinch
"Hah.. Did I really hurt you? It is just a light pinch" I said confusingly to her while looking at my hand that I used to pinch her cheek
Suddenly she laughed.
"Hehehe.. I got you" said Liliy, teasing me.
Her laugh makes me feel happy again, I always smile when Liliy is around me. I don't know, she is my comfort zone.
"Ahh.. I baked something that you like" said Liliy, and took out something from the bamboo picnic basket that she had brought earlier.
"Blood forest pie, with wineberry and brown pudding" said Liliy again, while serving me a slide of the pie.
I just smiled, looking at the fresh blood forest pie. "You absolutely know how to make me hungry." I said to her with a smile blooming on my face.
I picked up the fork and started to dig into the pie and put it on my mouth, "It is delectable. I love it". I said back
Suddenly, Lily's face changed. I look into her eyes, l can see that she is going ask me something, and I can see that she is worried.
" Little sis, what happened? Is there something in your mind, you can tell me!!" I said to comfort her.
"Brother" Liliy's words suddenly were cut off by Jackson, who was coming towards us.
"Greetings to His Royal highness, The Crown Prince and Her Highness, the Princess. Your Royal Highness, His Majesty the King and Queen expecting you to come to His Majesty the King's bookchamber right away." Said Jackson to me.
"I understand.."
