Cali just got us out of the shared room and down the hall, only to reveal our own personal room. Alexa and Piper were smart to control their heartbeats and breathing. But Cali has no idea how to do that. I knew something was up but would've never figured it to be this. She's a beautiful woman and I'm no virgin, but I don't want to give her the wrong idea. We have no future together.
"Steve, would you like to come inside with me? I won't pressure you. You know where your sister's room is. You can always go back." Cali said as she touched my arm
'Nix? What do you think' I asked him
'She's a human. She can't be our Mate. What's a little fun for the night?'
'But I don't want to lead her on or hurt her.'
'I know. You care about her. The choice is yours to make, Steve.'
