The next day Emily drove to Blake's building at 5am. One hour earlier than her shift was supposed to start. She knew by the end of her rant Blake would fire her anyway so why waste a whole day when she could get it out of the way before her shift. Emily stormed into the building and went right to the receptionist.

“I'm here to see Blake,” she told the receptionist. “Mr.Salvitore isn't ready to see anyone right now, please write your name down and have a seat. He will call you back when he's ready. “Replied the receptionist.

Emily rolled her eyes and looked at the door behind the receptionist. It read in bold black letters “BLAKE SALVATORE”. That must be his office, she thought. Emily turned to fake she was going to sit in the waiting room but then turned and ran towards his office. The receptionist screamed at her and went to chase her but Emily was too fast for her. Emily ran into the office and slammed the door shut and locked it behind her. She rested against the door to catch her breath and when she looked up, Blake was in front of her smirking widely.

“You just couldn't wait to see me, could you?” He said laughing. Emily glared at him as she stormed up to him pointing her finger at him. “You son of a b***h got me fired” she screamed. With every word she poked him in his hard chest. His smirk widened as he said “yeah but look now you get to see my sexy self every day.” Emily couldn't believe her ears. “You're such an ass hat” she yelled as she slapped him hard across the face.

The smirk instantly fell from his face as he growled low at her. “Don't start something you can't finish” he whispered. A shiver ran down her spine but her stubbornness wouldn't let her back down from anyone , not even a crazy sexy growling lunatic. “ You shouldn't have started this by making me lose my job” she yelled at him. His eyes seemed to darken as she went to slap him again. He caught her hand mere inches from his face. That just seemed to make her temper rise. She balled her other hand and went in to punch him. Only for him to catch that one as well.

“Emily this is your last warning, stand down now” he growled out. A shiver ran down her spine and she growled right back at him and she kneed him. Blake's eyes seemed to turn black as he pinned her against the wall. All the anger in Emily disappeared as she realized something. She was alone with a very pissed off Blake and he now had the upper hand.

Emily's body started trembling under Blake's glare. “Let go of me”, she whispered. Blake took a long breath and closed his eyes. She could feel his hot breath on her face as he tried to calm himself. When he reopened his eyes, his eyes looked golden brown. She stared into his eyes and couldn't seem to look away. It felt like he could see into her soul.

Blake lowered his head and Emily closed her eyes by instinct. Emily's eyes flew open as she felt his mouth on her neck. He was leaving little bites on her neck. Her face flushed with heat as a blush crept up her cheeks. “Blake”, she whispered. Blake growled and it made her neck vibrate. She would never admit it to him, but she was really starting to love that growl of his.

Blake moved her hands above her head so he could have a free hand. He used his free hand to pull her closer to him. A soft moan left Emily's lips as she felt his hard body against hers. Blake pulled away from her and looked at her. Emily felt super embarrassed and bit her lip trying to not blush under his stare. Blake stared into her eyes like he was searching for something but as soon as she bit her lip, it was as if he found what he was looking for. He gently caressed her cheek as he bent down to kiss her.

It was like reality slammed down on Emily. Without him kissing on her neck, her brain started working rationally again. Her fight or flight kicked in overdrive as she kneed him as hard as she could. She ran to the door as he fell to his knees holding himself. Emily ran out of the building and into her car. She started the engine and looked back to see Blake watching her from the door to his building. She held her breath as he smirked at her with his signature smirk. Emily drove away , not trusting her body to betray her again.
