as i prepared the rice, i saw your radiant hand holding mine;

the moment when we first met flew across my mind,

your smile and sweetness captured a maiden’s heart,

almost 5 decades ago, we fell head over heels for one another

you and i started our family small,

we lived in a cottage surrounded by farmland,

and relied on nature’s presents,

far from the city, we found harmony and peace

together, we burned midnight oils for our stars to shine brighter,

as exchange, they gave us bigger home to reside,

sweetness showers every time they visit,

fairy tales were made possible on it,

thinking it would last forever and filled with gratefulness, we lived more happily

never thought of when the day would be, you left me with no goodbyes,

we truly can’t escape from destiny’s game;

every night, i can see you smiling where you used to be,

on empty places, sweet memories remained,

now that you’re gone, everything turned to nothing

comeback… for i have nothing except for pain
