Dark Angel

I know my sister going to be angry with me for going after the eyes alone but I could not find a reason for her to be here. She was trained to protect herself like I was. I unlike her spend allot of my time with the rough crowd. I knew the cheap shoot they all took I could them coming. Michelle could hold her own but it isn’t enough.

I keep walking deeper and deeper into the forest, the sun was coming up and a light fog had started. I made it to a dirt road and decided to follow it to wherever it went. Not long it lead to a small cottage. I walked up to the window looking in. It was empty and door was open. It was small just a fire place and kitchen ask one room. There was a trunk that held clothes in different sizes. I continued my walk on the road.

The sun was fully up now and I was stopped on the road. Two men that were built with muscle on top of muscle stood in my way.

“State your business.” The one on the left said.

“So formal, I bet you wolves never take a day off and live.” I said as I walked between the booth of them.

“Stop now or else.” I didn’t look back. I knew if I wanted to help my sister I needed to get to the eyes. The door lead us there. Those eye held answers for her. Something was telling me if I keep walking I’ll see the eyes. I heard howls and knew this wasn’t the end but I kept going. Finally there was about 10 wolves around me.

“Ok ok you got me. Take me to your leader I’ll talk.” I showed my hand to she not harm.

A young women showed up and looked at me “ you again! I thought we told you to go.” She spit at the dirt by my feet.

“ oh honey if I knew this lead back to you, I would been here earlier. I know you missed me” I blow a kiss at her, that pissed her off. In a second I had her pinned out on top of her. When suddenly I was grabbed by the hair and pulled up and tossed to the ground.

“ when don’t take kindly to strangers.” The man who grabbed me spat out at me

“ I’m no stranger ask her,” I point at the girl in the dirt, “ she missed me too much, I had to come back.” With that I was punched in the nose. Two more men came and took each one of my arms the drugged me into a basement at the main house. I was chained up to a wall. I was there until the sun rose up again and then fell down, then the door opened. I heard two different foot steps, heavy with power. I thought if I die like this right note I would be ashamed for being weak and proud to have help my sister figure out what is happening to her.

The one man came in and gave me a pat down. I was still in pjs not much I can hide but he did find two daggers and my knife that I keep on my thigh.

“ So you are the one with attitude. The angel that came to steal a member of my packs soul. Then had the nerve to come back and try again.” he smirked with that I saw the moon light reflecting in his eyes. The same eyes at the lake. The same grey eyes that held the answer I was looking for.

I began to laugh like a crazy person. Why would a wolf hinder my sister? What would a wolf want with a dark angel? They still think I’m here to steal a soul that made me laugh even harder.

“As I said before I’m not here to steal a soul, that girl missed me and called out for me on a full moon.” Slap. The guy who patted me down slapped my face. He looked like a cop gone bad. Broad shoulders with a height of at lest 6 foot 10 inches. Head shaved close with a full bread.

“ you will not be disrespectful” he ordered while finishing me off with another slap across the face.

“ are you done with the jokes? I could have you killed right now! ANSWER ME WHY ARE YOU HERE?” He yelled at me. He had grey eyes black hair that seemed like it was once done but he ran his finger though it so much leaving it a mess. He was even bigger then the man next to me.

“I’m not telling you while I’m chained up like an animal. You want respect then respect me enough to un chain me and feed me. Once that’s done I’ll only tell you alone why I am here.” I point to the man with grey eyes.

The one next to me laugh and said “ not happening” He went to slap e bring his hand back and before he could the other man said “deal, unchain her.”

After I was fed a small meal, I sat in an office wait for this man to come back. I took a look around and saw many pictures of the pack and some of what looked like him as a child. The door opened and the man came in with the other one.

“I said alone. You patted me down and took my weapons, I have nothing to hurt your leader with.” I stated. The man with the eye nodded and left the other man out of the door.

“So what bring you here? We never see an angel here let alone a dark angel.” He asked.

“Well I never like the term dark angel, I’m not here to take your soul. I deal with human and just because we hang around dying human you are evil. You know we help more then an…”

“ENOUGH” he shouted “again why are you here?”

“I should be asking you. Why were you in the forest the other night?” I asked

“I’m asking the questions here!”

“Yes you are but in order for me to answer I need to know what where you doing at the lake?”

“It’s my special place my wolf take me to when I’m overwhelmed.” He answered as if he was ashamed

“Alright, who are you working with?” I asked

“Me working with someone” he looked puzzled “I work alone” still confused by the question “why would I be”

“ well since I met that girl outside before you know of our encounter from a few days ago correct.”

“Yes I’m aware while I was taking care a few thing some dark angels came to steal souls. And now you are back asking me questions, but this is your second time on my land without an warning..why?” He said getting annoyed by my questions

“Ok we are not stealing soul who ever told you can get f****d. And second I didn’t have a choice of where I ended up. You lead me here like the door lead us here. So the common thing is you. Why is that?” I asked again getting annoyed that he didn’t answer me the first time I asked.

“I have no idea what you are saying. I hear your words but no logic behind them. Why would I want any dark angels on my pack lands”

“Ok so you didn’t put a spell or ask your goddess to make my sister door come to you correct?”

“No” he said flatly

“Hhhmmm well your no help at all.” I said. As I turn to leave my sister runs into me.

“Luna there you are, you can’t just shove me and leave me. Plus you know how hard it is getting away without you.” Michelle said this whole pulling me into a hug “ew you need to shower. What have you been doing?”

As she is looking at me I get pulled back by the man that was sitting. His throat howled and finally we heard the words “MATE.”
